Our wedding was everything I ever imagined. Nothing could have gone more perfect in the day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well I wanted to start off by saying thanks to everyone for being here and sharing our special day with us. Each and every one of you, in some way, are very special to us and it means a lot to us that you could be here today!

Wow... I am now officially married. On one hand, the time has gone by so quickly, and I'm not sure where it's all gone... On the other, I never, ever thought this day would get here. Anyone else who's ever planned a wedding can probably relate... You just want to get everything over with, so you can stop worrying about the flowers and music, and who's going to be sitting where, and go on a vacation!!

I wanted to thank my bridesmaids first. You all look as beautiful as ever today!! You have all done so much to make this day happen and I couldn’t thank you enough!!!

To the groomsman, thanks for getting Tyrone here in one piece today! Im never really sure whats going to be happen when you all get together! You have all been a huge help with the wedding, and your all looking handsome as always!

I am not going to thank Tyrone’s family for welcoming me into their family, because I know I was welcomed a long time ago, or so I think! (haha) I’m going to thank them instead for putting up with me in their household for the past 6 months. When I moved out of my apartment, it wasn’t even discussed as to if I could move in with them or not, they simply just opened the door for me! it has been quite an adventure with you boys!!! As crazy as you all think it would be, living with 4 brothers, a dog and mom and dad, it was actually great, and I’m kind of sad to be leaving, but at least I’m taking Tyrone with me!I want to thank Tyrone’s sister for everything she has done!!! I know I can always rely on you for anything, and that means a lot to me! I’m very lucky to be gaining a sister in law like you!

For those of you who don't know, besides being a bride, a sister, a daughter, a granddaughter, one of my favorite things to be is an aunt. Having Layla be our flower girl today was really special and I hope when she grows up she will remember some of today, I know I will never forget how important a part she has been in our wedding. And tonight ladies, she will put you all to shame, she can stay up all night and party like no one I have ever seen.

I'd like to say a few words about my Mum and Dad. They have been the best parents a girl could wish for and they are also my friends. I am finding it hard to find the words to thank you for all you’ve done for me or to tell you how much I love and respect you. You have always been there for me. You were there, encouraging me to take my first steps and to say my first words and today you stood beside me as those steps took me to my husband and you listened while I spoke my vows. If you think I don’t know how hard that was for you – you’re wrong I do know and its just another thing I need to thank you for. I know that I am the person I am because of you both. I didn’t settle for anything less than true love because of your example. I know what to look for and I waited for it (and waited, and waited). I cannot even express what I should say about my dad. You mean the world to me. I know it killed you to walk me down the aisle today and give me away, but I always be your little girl. You guys are my model for what marriage should be, 28 years of laughter, tears, compromise, understanding, dependability, and above all, love. You taught me that love is forgiveness and patience, being together through the good times, and never giving up through the bad. You were never ashamed to hold hands, or kiss in front of family, no matter how many gagging noises we made. You showed me why I should wait for someone who loves me for everything I am, and everything I am not. You've shown me that life isn't always easy, love isn't always easy, but it's always worth it. I can only hope that my marriage is as strong as yours.

Mom, I saved you for last because.. well, you’ll see. My mom has been the most supportive while planning the wedding, and also the most nervous, excited and stressed!! I know she wanted this day to be perfect for me, and its exactly what I have always dreamed of!!
My mom and I get along very well… most of the time anyways! We sometimes disagree on things, for example.. having the cake at the wedding. As you can see… I won.

I asked my mom one day.. do I really need a cake? I mean, no one really pays attention to it, we will be served dessert.. so whats the point? She insisted that I have a cake at my wedding, but as I said before.. she has made me very stubborn and I stuck to not having a cake. Well mom I know how much it meant to to you, so this is for you!

I really want the bridal party to dance to "Time of my life" from the dirty dancing sountrack!!!I am so in love with it and I think its perfect!!

FH and Groomsman dont think its good, they say its to fast and we wont be able to dance to it!!!

I have 6 girls in my wedding, all of which I am very close to.

Im just not sure how I should be reacting to, most of them now showing up to anything?!

We had our stag and doe on August 7. Bridesmaid A couldnt come becuase she went to a concert, Bridesmaid B didnt come because she went to Toronto for the weekend with her boyfriend to wonderland, Bridesmaid C showed up at like 11 30pm and only stayed about an hour.

We now have a bridal shower this weekend, and 2 out of the 6 bridesmaids are coming. One bridesmaid sister is getting married Friday night, and shes not sure if she can make it to the saturday night shower, depending on how she's feeling...? My maid of honor cant come becuase they are hvaing a "end of summer" party at the camp she works at.

Its kind of upsetting me. Did any of your bridesmaids not show up to events????

We sent our invitations out around July 20th, and have the RSVP date set for September 17. We have had quite a few RSVP, but also alot that have not.. I know its early but..

After September 17, do we call the people that havnt responded at all.. or not??

I mean, if you didnt respond, than your not coming. So if you show up and theres not seat for you.. its your own fault.

What do you think??

I think I am more excited for our honeymoon, than I am the actual wedding!! Neither of us have travelled anywhere tropical, and we are both so excited!

The only downer is, we are not going until January. FH isnt as busy at work in the winter than he is all year, and January is his down time so its just easier for us to go then.

When is to early to book? Our travel agent has told us it is cheaper to book now, than it is last minute. She said they often have deals for booking in advanced, and when you book last minute you are only getting whats left over, so its not as good.

We are looking at the Dreams Punta Cana resort. We have had alot of people say Punta Cana is amazing with its white beach sand and what not.

What do you ladies think? Any suggestions to any other places??

This is a really tough decision! I dont know what to buy for gifts fr my bridesmaids, other than their jewelry! I would like to do something unique and different, but not too expensive!

So my bridesmaid dresses are a copper colored, shiny material. I dont like to say brown because they are not actually brown, but more of what a penny looks like!

I am having a really hard time deciding on what coulor of shoes will match the dress!!! Gold, or silver will not go very good I dont think, but I would loveee all your wonderful opinions:)

I also dont know about jewelry, but I was thinking pearls would look good?!

So I have chosen all of my flowers from a local flower shop, and put a deposit on them, but now a very close friend has offered to do all my flowers for free!!!

This is great news, but not I have to start all over again and decide on more flowers! Im sure it will all work out great, but these are some ideas that I want!
