WOW I haven't been on in a very long time! I've gotten so much planning done! I can't wait it's all coming together. This is going to be a long one so bear with me! :D
So most recently I went to my first dress fitting...It was great! With my fabulous shoes I don't need to shorten the dress at all! Best of all it is only going to be $70 for all of the alterations! How freakin' awesome! and my bridesmaids are only going to be paying about $30 for their alterations! So exciting.
I also recently found out that one of my bridesmaids is pregnant! Sooo excited for her!! But, we already have the dresses....so that was a bit of a stress attach, we have to see what we can figure out for here since she will be about 7 months pregnant at the wedding! But still so happy for her! :D
I think we are going to go with white accents for the bridemaids...so they will have white shoes and a white flower in their hair. Also a white flower on the dress.
We got the cake topper...It's a rhinestoned "D". It is fabulous and it was only $35...Oh how I love etsy.
We have the wedding toasting glasses...we went with bear mugs for the guys and wine glasses for the girls we also bought the memorial candle for the special people in our lives that are no longer with us. Also got picture frames for all my girls and flower girls. I love them! We got all of those from Scraps Of Love By Jen on Etsy....Man I love that site!!
We just got our wedding invitations today in the mail...it took less than a week. They are from Anns Bargin Bridal.com They are really nice and it was only $201 (including shipping) for 175 invitation. They are the seperate and send type which is nice....can't wait to get those all together!!
We found our transportation for the wedding too....it's going to be a Bright green party bus!! How amazing will it look with the bright pink bridesmaids dresses....I can't wait!
We are meeting with the caterer Sunday to talk about the menu and all of that and I'm so excited and a few of my girls are coming over to finish up some wedding stuff we still have to scan a ton of pictures to make our slide shows for the reception.
Also I have attached some pictures of me and one of my bridesmaids in their dresses and with the flower added....those shoes aren't hers. I have also added a picutre of my wedding shoes...they are amazing and actually very comfortable.
