Inspiration Board
Color Scheme: pink, blue, black, white

One of the other color schemes I'm considering is magenta, tiffany blue, black, and white. I really love these colors, but FH tends to shy away from pink. I thought he may not mind this particular shade since it leans towards the red-pink spectrum instead of a pastel, feminine pink, but he just told me he's not fond of it and likes the blue/orange combo better.

*Update* FH said he likes this combo MUCH better if we replace the magenta with red, which i would definitely consider. Now to figure out if red/blue is too bold to add black and white as well.

In other news, I had a wonderful Valentine's Day! FH bought me this really cute dress, I got my ring back from being re-sized (I missed it oh-so-much!), and we made enchiladas for dinner.

Oh, and in non-wedding related news, I got a job (which is difficult in Michigan's economy right now) AND one of my illustrations made it into the 2010 Student Society of Illustrators competition. For all you non-art people, this competition is a big deal, and this was my last chance to enter since I graduated this past December. Super-super happy right now!

@aimee114 I found it the other day and thought it was super cute! I hope you don't mind me using it on the board? If you do, I'd be glad to take it off of there.

It's definitely a flashy color combo! I still love the damask, too, but I'm afraid that by 2011 the trend will be completely out of season and harder to find.

OMG, congrats on the job, and the illustration! That's amazing! I'll definitely keep my fingers crossed for you. ;]
As for the colour scheme, I have to side with your FH on this one.. I'm 50/50 about switching in (a deep, deep) red for my pastels (one day it's one choice, the next it's the other), and it's driving my FH insane. That's one bad thing about having so much time to plan.. I'm indecisive, and our colours/theme are bound to change a lot while trying to nail things down.
