Another idea :)
To honor your mom and mom-in-law at the wedding
Found this again..on theknot
Ask your floral designer to design two detachable floral sprays into your bouquet. After your father walks you down the aisle, just before he turns to leave you and take his seat, remove one of the special flowers from your bouquet. Hand it to him and give him a kiss. Let him know in advance that this will take place and tell him that as he takes his seat in the pew with your mother, he is to present the flower to her on your behalf. Then at the conclusion of the ceremony, as you begin to make your way back up the aisle as husband and wife, stop at the pew where your mother-in-law is seated. Remove the second special flower from your bouquet and present it to her, along with a kiss, before continuing up the aisle. Don't tell the moms in advance that this will be taking place! It is the element of surprise which helps to make this so very sweet and special. There will not be a dry eye in the room... |

Thought this was a cute idea!
Quilt Keepsake
I found this idea on the knot and if you knew someone who could sew...how cute!
Instead of a traditional guest book, guests signed quilt squares, which then will be sewed into a quilt for the couple |

Websites that I have found helpful!
***Here are some websites that show you how to make your own invitation.
1. This one talks about how to make one with your picture behind it and then put the clear paper over it (not sure what it's called) with the wording.... http://youtube.com/watch?v=IoVEUWqnCjE&feature=related 2. This is one of the greatest websites ever. If you ever want to know how to do something GO HERE.... http://www.monkeysee.com Here is the link to make some really pretty invitations.... http://www.monkeysee.com/play/7029-how-to-make-your-own-wedding-invitations ***I honestly can't remember how I found this, so if it's from one of you brides, I'm sorry...I 'm not trying to steal someone's thunder. But, this is how to make your own monogram http://www.favorideas.com/video/monograms/monogram-ppt.html ***This website has things like water bottle labels, menus, etc. Just click on free stuff and enjoy :) http://design.jodyprouse.com/freebies/templates.html |

SOME of my MANY inspirations :)
Lemons, Lemons, and more Lemons!
My colors are black and white with a yellow accent. Although I LOVE this combo, a lot of other people have been like..ooohhh when I tell them my colors. It has also been hard to find pics of ideas with these colors. So...for any of you out there that have these colors...I will post and find as much as I can to share :)
I really like the lemon idea. Actually, I think my wedding has centered around it. No matter how many times I've changed my colors (which seems like a common thing) I have always stuck with the lemons :) I will be sure to post more ideas later ! |

One of our pics! |
Hello LOvA!
A little about me and the boy....We have been dating for six years :) I am so in love with him!!! Although many may not believe in it, I know that he is my soulmate and I was destined to be with him. I don't even think I could imagine someone better.
Jack has actually been very supportive with the whole wedding process. He actually made phone calls..haha! Anyone else have a supportive fiance (in the wedding process that is)? Well..don't let this fool you...he is not like having a girl help you, but he helps in his own little way (whether it's just agreeing with what I have to say or not :) Not to get all moushy...but this is one of my fav. poems and I feel it perfectly describes how I feel about my FI! When the one whose hand you're holding Is the one one who holds your heart When the one whose eyes you gaze into Gives your hopes and dreams their start, When the one you think of first and last Is the one who holds you tight, And the things you plan together Make the whole world seem just right, When the the one whom you believe in Puts their faith and trust in you, You've found the one and only love You'll share your whole life through. |

GREETINGS!
So...I am new to this. I have to admit that I have been looking at this website and getting ideas from a lot of people on here. I guess it's my turn to start one of these and hopefully contribute to someone's wedding :)
Although my wedding is not for over a year from now, we have been bustin our butt to get things done. I am amazed about how far in advance you have to book stuff. Oh well..it's coming along. I have also learned a lot about how much weddings cost...ahhhhh! We had a budget set and it has almost DOUBLED! Well, I don't know if anyone cares :) but a little about me....I am currently getting ready to graduate with my master's in counseling psychology. I work with children who have disabilities and their families. Not many people can say that they love their job..but I have found something I'm made to do and that makes me HAPPY :) I have been away from my family and friends for six years now to finish school...so I'm SOOOO ready to move back home in the next couple months!
