I have started the aisle Runner. It's not perfectly Straight. I hope it comes out right. This has been the most work of all my DIYs. Update: I have now FD up my runner. The paint keeps soaking and globbing the satin.
Ewww, I don't know? I've never experienced this before? I don't work with satins, just the other textures. Are you using fabric paint? It has a thinner nozel on the tip to scetch it better. Running part, do you have wax paper underneath it? It may be the wrong thing to use with a satin fabric runner? If you are tracing over wax paper, you maky have to remove it and trace over a paper towel instead.
Great effort though! Don't give up, it takes time and patience dfor sure and that you have, Lynnie! I know!!!

Fabric markers may be better? You might want to try a piece at the bottom edge first and cut it off, just to do a trial run? I don't know why it is smearing.

I am using fabric paint. I think I am gonna try fabric markers and see if it works.
