13 DAYS!!
I have started to count down the days now. The wedding is only 13 days away! May 1st at 2:00pm I will be getting married! I have to say the month of April has been a busy one for me. From bridal portraits, hair trial, makeup consultation, guest list, and trying to get a tan, I am ready for the honeymoon! I am ready for a VACATION! We are going to get our marriage license next week. Next Saturday is the bachelorette/bachelor party. And then I don't have to work for a week and a half!!! YAY!
I have to say that before you actually start planning a wedding, you do not know how many details go into everything. AND ALSO HOW MUCH IT COSTS! We went from a big wedding with a guest list of 175, getting married at a waterfront home, DJ, cake, photographer, etc and have now changed it to a more intimate setting at a small church with 100 people and a small reception (really a get-together) at my fiance's grandmothers house. I have to say I am happy about what we decided to do. We are paying for our own wedding.....and the reception is really for everyone else, so we are just really concentrating on the ceremony. . Just remember ladies, don't get so wrapped up in the little details...from favor boxes, to personalized napkins.....to a $600 cake. The most important thing to me is the ceremony. I AM MARRYING MY BEST FRIEND. I CANNOT wait until I am MRS DUKE! |

I have been searching and staring at photos for the longest time and just want to fall in love with a hairstyle. I think I want the half up/half down style. My hair is not super long so I am scared if I do it really curly, my hair will be up to my chin. I think I may do loose curls at the bottom only. I am sooo excited.
