If I dared...
tea length wedding gown

If I didn't worry that a small part of me would regret not having a ballgown, traditional, wedding gown with a train... I would TOTALLY rock the tea length dress. 90% of me realllllllly wants to wear a tea length dress on my wedding day. But that other 10% would haunt me every time I saw a picture of my dress. So... I will leave this idea/trend to the brides out there with balls. May the power of fashion be with you!

Here are just some dresses I would LOVE to wear.... again, if I had the balls to do so.

Anyone out there going the short route?

I've considered a tea length dress too!  I know I'd have those same feelings of regret though, but they are soooo cute!

Oh, I am so right there with you.  Jim Hjelm has a tea length dress that I absolutely adore but I just can't bring myself to do it.

speaking from experience as a bride who had her heart set on a tea length dress... if you really want one, then do it. I have regretted getting an a-line gown since I put the money down on my dress, and even moreso since I got the dress in my possession. I desperately wanted a tea length and I let myself get talked out of it by everyone who claimed that I'd look back in 10 years and wonder wtf I was thinking. So, now I'm going to be a 2 dress bride instead!

I would go with the tea length dress! Or... do two. Go with what your personality wants. You get married once so make sure your happy with your dress, it really is the most important thing second to the man you are marrying.

oooh, I looove my dress, but ever so often I get an almost irresistable urge to go get the Stephanie James dress Iw as going to buy.
It's called Josephine, it's ivory lace over pink and you can get it with flowy short sleeves, and it has a bow shaped ribbon sewn on around the waist.
I e-mailed them, found a place that sold it 3 hours away, drove out there to try it on, and it looked awful on me :(

Definitely check out her line of tea length dresses though, tehy are amazing!
