Flowers
Gerbera!!!
Gerbera are definitely my flower of choice. My wedding colours are going to be green, orange and white. So I am hoping for white and orange gerbera and green hydrangea. But I am open to other suggestions for green or any of the colours. I really like the second arrangement though. I thought about green and white for me and then adding the orange for my bridesmaids. Any comments are welcome.

you should take a look at my flowers on my blog.  We seem to be on the exact same page in terms of flowers and colours.  I am using gerbera daisies as well in orange for centerpieces and bridemaid bouquets and using either white of cream for my bouquet.  In my picture though it shows roses and I am not using them...instead I am substituting green hydrandgea.....and then my other green flower element is an orchid.  Anyways check out the pic I have and let me know what you think.

for the green in that picture it looks like they used green carnations. Thats always a cheaper way to go and it looks great.

Why not check my blog I just did a post on Dahlias.  Beautiful can be as large or as small as you like and the colors are incredible.

Enjoy

Opps sorry Dahlias are a late summer early fall flower.  You need spring blooms.

Beautiful flower choices Megan.  I think the arrangement you like is very fresh and reflective of spring.  Some other flower options you may consider are orchids, white roses, freesia, white tulips, orange tulips, orange roses, and tiger lilies (for the orange).  Carnations are also a great way to go as they come in a multitude of colors and are long lasting.  Lilies and orchids are more fragile.

I think that the flowers are just beautiful!  The green carnations work well if hydrangeas are not available in the spring.  Orange would certainly add abit of Zing!
