OUR WEDDING!
Im a married woman :)
So after a year of planning the day has come and gone and went so perfect I cant even believe it. No bumps in the road ALL DAY! Flowers were gorgeous, weather was amazing, cake was stunning, my HAIR was STUNNING, great friends, great food. And my nerves werent as bad as I thought they would be! I only cried for a second and somehow made myself stop (and didnt look at my sobbing mother or bridesmaids again for the rest of the ceremony!)
But all and all it was absolutely amazing, I wouldnt change any of it. I hope every bride's wedding day is just as great!! |

Seating charts and place cards?
Yesterday my mom helped me with the seating chart for the reception and after an hour or so we got it figured out! yay!! That was such a pain!! I wish I didnt have to do it, but with a guest list of like 190 something and enough tables and chairs for 200 guests I wanted to make sure everyone had a place, and a good place. All I could think of was people getting their first and randomly sitting where ever then larger families having to break up and sit at different tables. I do not want anyone to feel like they HAVE to sit there, its just for dinner.. then people will be all over the place!
How many of you girls are doing a seating chart? Are you numbering your tables and leaving these place cards out? Im pretty sure thats how we are going to do it. I dont want everyone to have to walk around the tables to find their name. Another question though? Where is a good place to find cards or something like this for everyone's name? I need 200.. and can they go in the printer?? I only have 10 days left! THANKS A BUNCH!!! :) |

gerber daisies and stargazer lilies!
Talked to my florist today! My bouquet is pink gerber daisies, pink roses and stargazer lilies! All hot pink.. almost like picture #2 but less white and green. My bridesmaids are all carrying 3 hot pink gerbers and every table will have a vase of the 3 hot pink gerber daisies! I love them :) I cant wait to see them all!
My bridesmaids might have a stargazer lily for their hair also. :) |

Wedding Reception

Yesterday I went to the club where we are having our reception to decorate a table to see how it will look. I have black and white damask runners and I was going to use the white table cloths the club already has underneath. Well... the white table cloths looked HORRIBLE with the damask runners.. which I had a feeling.. So anyways, I brought one black table cloth that I will be using for my cake table and tried that with the runner. PERFECT! So I had to order 20 black table overlays online and pay for fast shipping bc my wedding is in 11 DAYS!!!! Please pray they come in, they should be in by Friday.
Well here are a couple pics of what my tables will look like. The flowers in the pic are cheap fake ones, mine will be pink gerber daisies.. and all the place settings will be out, except for the actual plates bc its a buffet. Let me know what you think! :) |

Just a lil update
Ive been gone for a while!
So I havent been on here in forever! We spent a week in VEGAS for my lil brother's 21st birthday! It was amazing!! And kinda nice to not think about wedding stuff for a few days. But now Im back and I cannot believe there is only 17 days till the wedding!! Time sure does fly by!
The other day I picked up our marriage icense and took it to our pastor. Talked with the dj and picked out all our songs! NO MORE UNDECISIVENESS!!! LOL. Went to my 2nd dress fitting yesterday, all the dresses will be done by the 16th. Now all I have to do is finish the favors, out of town bags, and seating chart (not fun at all by the way) and give the caterer a head count. Talked to my cake maker today too and everything is done with her.. just have to make the final payment.. And our shower is SATURDAY!! Yay cant wait.. we are having a bbq so hopefully the weather is nice :) I have been so busy its crazy.. yesterday was my parents SILVER anniversary! 25 years!! So we all went out to celebrate that last night! The Saturday before the wedding is a baby shower for my matron of honor. She doesnt live here anymore and since she is comming home for the wedding her family wanted to throw in a baby shower too.. I dont know what I am going to do with myself when everything is over! Well.. thats all for now.. :) |

Name changing
Hello :) so tomorrow the FH and I are going to get our marriage license! Yay!! But now I am just thinking about what I have to do to change my name. Who do you have to contact?? I know you have to call the social security office and get a new driver's license but who else? Your bank, utility companies, credit card companies??
Any suggestions to the best way to go about this? I deffinately am not buying a book!! LOL |

Are you letting FH see your dress?
I deff am not! But it is soooo hard now that I have pictures of it! I caught myself numerous times last night going to get my camera to show him. And I cant show him our daughter's flower girl dress bc it looks like mine... lol ohh well only 39 days I believe!!!
I just feel like if I show him pictures it will take away from his expression when I walk down the aisle! Its not really the bad luck part that gets me, its that I want him to be soo shocked bc of course he has never saw me in a wedding dress before! |

DRESSES ARE IN!!!!!!!!
My wedding dress is in! I had my first fitting today. I am IN LOVE :)
I never got to see my dress before, I had to try on the one they had in the store which was ivory with red... I am sooo happy right now. My daughters flower girl dress is gorgeous also, it matches my dress. I didnt really take any pictures of it because it was huge on her. The BM dresses are in too. I am really happy with those as well! YAY! |

LOVE dishes
I am in LOVE with these L O V E dishes :o) I dont think I can resist them. I know I dont need them but I will deffinatly use them over and over again after the wedding. And I know that pink m&ms and other pink candies will look super cute in them. I think I am going to put them at the bar at the reception. I ended up stocking up on valentines day m&ms because of all the pinks in them but I have to sort through them and get all the red ones out.. And these dishes look pretty deep so I will probably have to find some other pink candies.. idk yet. Im sure I will come up with something..
