Ok.. so I finally found my song for the ceremony. I had heard in months ago but had NO information on.. so i searched and searched and found it!! It's called Lullaby by bond. It's a remake of the original Canon in D. Check it out.

Ok.. so our wedding isn't going to be super fancy or anything... you can kind of get the idea from my previous posts.. I made a few monograms up for my aisle runner project.. which one do you like the best?? Please vote! Thanks!!

So I did some google searching for a DIY idea on a aisle runner. I think the monogrammed runners are AWESOME!.. plus the carpet runner in our chapel is a purpleish color.. so it would be nice to somewhat cover it up. Here's the link.. check it out!! I'm going to try it!

So I saw these on someone elses site and LOVED it! . I'm going to do this.. Get them in my wedding colors and put them in super cute clear vases/cups and have them sitting at the tables. So cute!

So, I just called and book the chapel site for the ceremony. I went yesterday and took a bunch of pictures of the inside and I loved it. I send some pics to my best friend and dad and they all loved it too.. So i booked it.. figured that I better not wait to long otherwise I'll be out of luck.

Ok.. so I have super straight hair. and it's fairly fine. Doesn't hold a curl worth a crap. I would love to do the half down hairstyle, but I'm sure the stylist would have to use TONS of hairspray/get etc.. so it wouldn't move after she was done.. therefore might not look too natural haha. but here are some pics i fell in love it.

Our ring bearer is going to be our son Trevor. He will have just turned 4 when we get married next year. I can't wait to dress him up in a little tux!!! Here is a fun pic of him i just took .I was going through my bridal accessories and put my tiara on him. he HATED it haha. He wouldn't smile or look at me while he had it on. I had to laugh.

This is my Maid of honor. She' my best friend since before kindergarten. Anna!! She is awesome. We've known eachother forever. And have even went our own ways through school at times.. but have always known eachother was there.. only a phone call away. Love her to death! Honestly don't know what I would do without her!

Ok, so i've put together a bunch of songs that I would love.
of course can't chose first dance. I just heard a song called "when god made you" and it's beautiful! But we have a lot of songs that have more meaning to them that we've had as "ours" along the 9 years we've been together. So i'm stuck lol
*i'm thinking Bless the broken road by Rascal Flatts: because we've been together since 1999 and have been through some rough times. And at points we would just drive around holding hands listening to the song.

But then we have "angel of mine" by monica.. was the song he first ever asked me to be his girlfriend to when we were in highschool. I'll never forget that day. lol.

Father/Daugher: Butterfly Kisses (i'm going to bawl my eyes out for this one..i've always been a daddys girl)

*I might have a song played dedicated to my fiance's niece who passed away in 2000 at age 9 from cancer. "Holes in the Floor of Heaven".. but i'm going to double check with family make sure they are given a heads up and are ok with it.

So I am finally getting things rolling! I have the reception hall booked-deposit paid. Also the Photographer booked! Yay! It's so exciting to see it finally coming together! My dad knows the owner of Complete Limo so he's going to talk to him now that we actually have a date set. Seems so far away.. yet I know it's going to fly by!!! I'm a very organized person so all this chaos already is kind of crazy haha. I'm hoping I can have most of it all settled and ready to rock and roll. I know there will be things here and there that will pop up. But at least I'll have the basics covered!!!

I decided to go with a lady who works out of her house. It's called "Invitations and More" and its out of Saginaw. I love her. she has such a variety and is so laid back. Makes things very easy. Plus she has great prices! I loved this invite as soon as I saw it. Simple yet elegent! :) Embossed paper with beautiful writing. It's called a seal 'n send invite. The RSVP is attached to the bottom of the invite.. so all that is needed is the info filled out on the RSVP, tear it off and drop it in the mail. PLUS i get to use postcard postage.. which is almost half price. With a tight budget you have to save money where you can!

I decided to go with Image Artz Photography. They are actually right next door to my reception hall. Again.. tight budget.. and they have what they call a Budget package. 6 hours, unlimited locations, unlimited pictures. But what happens is they give you all the negatives, all your pictures on a dvd, and a website with all your pictures so you and others can order. But they give you a written copyright release so you can print your own pictures. For me.. personally.. it would be great to have all my pics printed by them.. but almost everyone is over $1000 just for your basic package. At least with them I can pick out my top favorites and have them touched up/printed/blown up etc. The rest I can have printed out on regular kodak paper just enough so I can have them fill up a nice photo book.

So of course like the first thing I got was my dress! I actually got it from my aunt who is about my same size. She gave me almost everything I needed so it saved me a TON of money. Being on a tight budget sucks.. so every little bit helps. Plus when she asked me if I would want to wear it.. i already knew what I was looking for in a dress.. and when I saw the pictures it was EXACTLY! what i wanted. I"m not a super girly girl. I like the simple yet elegent look so i loved it. I am getting the back altered to a lace up back (possibly with the lace being the color of my BM dresses) and also i might have to alter the length somehow. Barefoot/flatfoot it just barely touches the ground. Of course I want to wear heels..so i will have to talk to the alteration lady and see what her opinion is on how to deal with that. Also pics of the veil and tiara. The veil is aweseome! Great detail and is a 2 piece. If i put the whole thing on it's all the way down to the ground. Which is awesome because the dress doesn't have a train.. so that works as my train. But then the long part of the veil is removable so i only have the part that goes down just under my butt. I love it. Perfect. **In the pics both the dress and veil need to be steamed to get the wrinkles out.. i had just taken them out of the preserve box that my aunt had them in.. ****

Ok.. so i'm not sure on how I want to go about the cake idea. I found some pictures of what they call a "cupcake" wedding cake and I LOVE the thought of that. Don't have to worry about anyone cutting/serving the cake. People jsut take one and thats it. Although there is still the top layer that is a 6 inch real cake for us to cut during the reception. I havn't decided weather I want to go with a real cake or cupcake cake yet? Just some thoughts.

So I've decided I want to go with gerbera daisies. I love the look of them. Plus.. they are a larger flower so I figurd for centerpieces I could do a simple 2-3 stems in a nice vase and it would look nice. I'm not exactly sure on the colors yet. I was going to go with dark red and white.. But then I was worried that the dark red would be too overbearing for a spring wedding. I'm now looking at a pale pink, white and possibly a pale yellow for accent. Not quite sure. I have plenty of time to decide..

My BM dresses are going to be clover green. I love the color, very spring-y. I definately want knee length dresse but i'm still deciding what actual dress to go with. Here are two ideas. I think I like the first one the best. The one with the ribbon around the waist. Simple, yet elegent. Just what I want.

So we officially got engaged just before christmas. It was actually supposed to be a christmas present.. but of course he got it and couldn't wait. I absolutely LOVE it! Princess cut solitare diamond! And boy does it sparkle!! yay! haha.
