Wedding Dress
FOR SALE!!!
I am selling my gently used wedding dress I just used for my June wedding. It is a David's Bridal dress with some slight alterations. It says a size 4, but I had it taken out slightly to it is probably closer to a size 6. I am 5'7" and I was wearing 1.5" shoes (approx) and it was perfect length!. I did have some slight trim added on the hem of the part that wraps around the front. It is just a small string of acrylic diamonds to add that little bit of sparkle that I liked. It went perfect with the necklace and earrings I wore!! You can barely notice it even in the pictures but in the light it does sparkle! I got TONS of compliments on the dress. It was very elegant but not overbearing. I have the slip that I wore also - it is a tie waist so it is adjustable. The dress itself is in great condition - it just needs to be dry cleaned as I havn't done it since I wore it. It does have a few slight dirt marks on the very bottom hem but would easily come out with dry cleaning - its just from it touching the ground.

I am also including the veil which was over $200 new itself! The veil is actually a 3 tier veil, but I only wore the first 2. The first and 2nd layers are permanently attached to the comb & hit about shoulder and butt length. The 3rd layer which is removable goes all the way to the floor and has a little extra detail around the edges. Works perfect if you want to wear the long part for the ceremony and then easily remove if so you can wear the veil for the reception also.

I attached a few pictures of the dress and veil so you could see, but I do have lots more pictures if you are interested! It was very comfortable and I liked not having the train because it was summer time and wedding dresses are heavy enough as it is... let alone adding a ton of material on the back of the dress to haul around for the reception. I didn't miss the train at all!! I moved easily and actually during the reception took the slip off to cool off a little. The dress itself does have some poof to it.

I am asking $200 for the dress/slip & veil . If you are interested or have any questions - please email me at azgirlmi20@yahoo.com I am from the Saginaw, Michigan area... I can ship if you want to pay the shipping. :) You can see additional picture if you go back in my blog on here. I LOVED the dress!!

This is the dress without the crinoline underneath (the slip) - after we got to the reception I took the slip off - it was much cooler!

almost 4 months!
wow I havn't been on here in forever!
So I finally made it back on here! I can't believe it's been almost 4 months already since our wedding! Married life is good! Loving it! And I love that I can refer to my husband as "hubby" now! lol. Nothing much new. I still have a few things to get rid of from my wedding stuff stash, but we are back to normal life finally! I got the photographers pics and so I am going to try and post some for each category for future Mrs to Be's that need ideas. :) I got TONS of compliments.. The wedding and everything included ended up costing a grand total of about $7,000. Which I thought was AWESOME! I hope everyone's wedding planning or after wedding life is going great! I will try and get some posts up here real quick!

So this is how my hair ended up. I did a low updo. LOVED it! It was hot that day so I was glad that I had it off my neck! She did a slight bump on top and pulled some back into a barrette I had picked out. She then proceeded to curl all the rest of my hair and then pin it all up into the low messy bun. I Loved it. It even looked cute after my curls started to fall by the end of the night. I was pleased. The hair was low enough where I could use the barrette as my veil base. So the veil was still over my hair, but didnt stick up above my head hardly at all. I didn't want that. But the best part was that the veil was just stuck into the hair, that once the pictures were done at the ceremony I was easily able to take the veil off and put it aside to start the party! I didn't want to have to worry about it pulling my hair our for the rest of the day. I was glad I took that route! Easy in.. easy out.. looks good for the pics but I didn't have to wear it all night. Here are some pics that I have so you can sort of see how it all ended up.. for those of you still figuring hair out!

How some of the planning turned out..
Cupcake Cake, Colors, Dresses, Flowers
Ok.. So because I posted a lot of my ideas on here. I wanted to show the final draft of how it turned out.
Pic #1 - Me and all the girls. I chose Clover Green. Tea length dresses.. but they were not all the same. I let the girls choose their own. Two dresses are the same and the other two are different. But I think it looked great! They were also all the same material. Also, My hostess Tiff, She wore the white and clover dress. We wanted her to match, but stand out a little since she was the hostess. Her dress is the same length and same material. She dressed it down with a clover headband and some not as strappy shoes. Shoes were all died to match the clover green.

Pic #2. This is our cake. You can barely see the topper cake because of the flash, But it's in the middle on the higher stand, with gerbers on top and two ribbons of color around the base. I LOVED the cake and got tons of compliments on it. No cutting of the cake or worrying about having someone cut and serve it. Just handed out cupcakes. :) I went for the simple yet elegant look. All the cupcakes has regular icing but made smoother. Every few cupcakes had a starburst of color (either pink, yellow or orange) I didn't do all the cupcakes with color. THought it would be too much.

Pic #3. A close up of the girls and their flowers. The flowers were from Afloral.com. 0.49 cents a stem. My flowers in all cost me $128!!! Everyone thought they were real! Plus all the girls and myself got to keep our bouquets! Turned out great. i was VERY pleased!!! I will have to get a picture of the centerpieces at the reception.

Pic #4. The alter decor. We had to arrangements made for either side. Put the toss bouquet in the upper back part as some extra color and then just stuck 4 single gerbers at the base of the unity candle to add in color. Looked great i thought!! The chapel had a lot of character on it's own so that is the only decoration I did at the chapel.

Pic #5 is a closer look at the flowers. I was soooo pleased with them. For being fake, they looked real!!!

Pic #6. Just another shot of the girls for you to see their dresses/flower combo. Again. Clover green. Not all the same dresses, I just used some guidelines in choosing about 6 different dresses and let the girls choose from those.

I was very pleased with how all the planning went and had TONS of compliments on the colors of it all. The dresses, the flowers and the combination of them. So i was very pleased. These are all just pictures I've received from others, so I will definately post more when I get more. Plus when I get the photographers. I want to make sure I get up all the "final draft" pictures of how all the planning and ideas turned out. So you ladies who are still planning, or starting to plan can see how it ended up.

Bachelorette Party
It went AWESOME!!
So I had my bachelorette party saturday night. It was awesome!! I don't have pictures yet because everyone but me took pictures haha. So they will be emailing me all of them. I will definately post once I get them! I drank so much alcohol it was a blast. We had the party bus.. holds 14 people. Ended up having 10 girls on the bus. TONS of alcohol. Stopped at 5 bars including one club.. So TONS of dancing and drinking. It was a blast!!! I can't believe I was still standing after the night was over, but I was a good drunk. lol. Most people didn't even realize how drunk I was. I think after counting it up there were 6 or so drinks (wine coolers & smirnoffs and so on) 10-12 shots (I had at least 2 at every bar), a mixed drink at the club along with lots of jello shots on the bus. So i had my fair share of alcohol!! I was pretty rough yesterday haha. But way worth it. I had my hair trials on saturday afternoon so I had my hair put up cute for the party. I'll post those pics too!.. So anyways.. ahhh. 4 days before I get married!! yay!

Bachelorette Party!!
Saturday! 2 days!
I am so so so excited for saturday!!! We rented a 14 passenger party bus that comes with a bathroom and dance pole on board! Plus the sound system. We rented it from 9pm -2am.. We get to go bar hopping/dancing all night!! I can't wait. .. and of course get drunk!

This is the outfit i ended up going with. It's going to be nice.. but not quite warm enough at night for a skirt. So i opted for skinny jeans. I found the shirt off ebay and it's super freakin cute. I wanted something sexy.. but not TOO sexy.. It's low cut but has a criss cross front.. Its a stretchy material and sits nice against your skin. So even though it's low cut.. it's tight enough where if i bend over the shirt isn't going to hang and show my girls off! haha.

I was going for something fun.. but not over dressy.. Figured this would work out good. The second picture is of the back of the shirt.. Plus I was messing around with my fake flowers for the wedding and stuck one in my hair and i thought it looked freakin cute!! And that was just with my hair tossed back in a messy ponytale!! not even done up! So i might have to try it for saturday! SOOOOO EXCITED!!! Party Party here we come!!!

Let me know what you think of the outfit.. Look ok??

Well we were high school sweethearts and have been together 10 years now and FINALLY making it offical! haha. We are on a tight budget for the wedding. We own our own house and are currently doing TONS of upgrades so most of our money is getting put into that. But, I think i can still have it turn out great. I'm a simple girl. So I don't think it should be too hard. **Registered At Target**
