Last weekend, Julie (Brandon's sister, and best woman) went shopping at Burlington Bridal Mart to start the search for the ACTUAL bridesmaid dress. We were pretty lucky that the store wasn't too busy for a Saturday and we able to just pull quite a few dresses and not even have a pushy salesperson try to force us to chose one or another. Only after trying on about a half dozen dresses, we really both agreed on this one dress that fit Julie like a glove. You'll have to go to the website to see it...since they won't let me save it to the computer.

They call it Olivine...but I think of avacado and pears when I see them in person. The material is called Prism Shantung...so it catches a lot of light with the shimmer of the material. It's also very lightweight and should be very comfy on the girls if the weather's pretty hot.
So I sent out the picture to all the girls the day after we shopped. They all love the strapless dress...but some would like to have the option of spaghetti straps, which I'm totally fine with. The only thing that I'm a tad worried about is the right shoes for the look! I think I'll let them pick whichever shoe they want...it's a pretty hard thing to do to find matching shoes for all of them. Now to find the right jewelry! That's the fun part of shopping for weddings!!
