Wedding Reception
HELP!!! I can't find the right song
Hi Ladies,
I hope everyone's planning is going well! I need help, I have been searching for that one perfect song that will describe us, for our first dance. I found it or so I thought! Better together - Jack Johnson It is a great song and after listening to it together it makes so much sense for us. I had called my MOH and wanted to tell her about the song. I told her and then she informed me that, I should have heard that song before. I asked her where and she said well at my Wedding that is the song that her and her husband danced too. I was in total shock I didn't even remeber that....But i was running around so much that day I didn't even get to eat dinner. What do I do? She said she wouldn't mind if we had it too, but now it's not ours it's all of ours. I just don't know what to do or what song to pick. Any advise? |

Centre Peices
Done!!! all bought and paid for
So, my FH and I were walking our local Michael's and stumbles upon these really nice vases....then tea light holders... We just couldn't beleive that we found it all in one day, and for such a good price.
We bought all they had on the spot, and the hotel provides the glass plates. The only difference will be insted of glass gems we will have purple amthyst is the vase insted. I love these, I think they are simple and will still leavel ots of room on the tables. What do you think? |

I finally Got it
So after trying to pick which one, all my my friends picked the sameone.... They all said it is just so me, I took my MOH, and Mom with me for one last look before I picked. I think it will be perfect. To my surprise when i went to pay for it my mom took care of it. I was so Excited and Happy. I was so no planning on her paying for that!!!!!

Who says no to a bride?
So I just resently had a sit down with a flowerist and she told me that Purple Roses Wont work for my wedding and That I should pick something else .... She basicly said no I can't do want I wanted to do and That I should pick all different flowers. Well I left that store upset.
I ended up at a different flowerist and she was great, except I still cant have the tullips...But I can get over that. She didn't understand what had happend at the other place. So new plan, Purple Roses...White Spider Mums, white stephanotis and Wax Flowers |

Favours
Truffles are done and paid for!!!
The other day I was searching for Favours and I came across a little shop that make homemade Truffles....How ever you want them to be or flavoured, coloured. i am so excited I met with the lady when I went home and they were great they come all ready, in little boxes and with personalized labels and then They will deliver!!!! Sweet I don't have to do anything!!!!! We are going to have them flavoured with rum and each box will have one that is rolled in White chocolate and the other in Dark Chocolate!!!

I have picked the dresses Not the actual colour
So I ended up going shopping for dresses with my Mom and Sister. I had a hole list ready to go of the ones I wanted her to try on.... They all looked like shit on her, I also tried them on to see what they might look like on the other girls.... and they looked like shit on me.
So after talking to the Sales lady for awhile she said she would put a few dresses a side while we looked at wedding gowns. When we went back I have my Sister try this one on... and I couldn't believe how good it looked on her... So Tried it one and to my amasement it also look good on me. Let me know what you think. Main parts will be Navy and Accents will be in purple |
