Old, new, borrowed, blue?
I guess, i haven't put a whole lot of thought in to it,but now that its on my mind, I have no idea how i would fulfill this tradition. I haven't been very good about sticking to traditions for our wedding, but i do know that i want to fulfill this tradition. I guess for my new...i have my dress, shoes and jewelry. Blue? maybe i'll do my garter blue....or maybe i'll have a vikings garter because it's his favorite team. maybe i'll do my undies blue :) hehe. old?? i have no clue...borrowed? still no clue. What do you ladies think? is anyone doing this or have any ideas of how i can fulfill my old and borrowed??

Imagine the tall centerpeices, spray painted black with long white and black crystals hanging from them.
The second and third pics combined-carnations though insted of roses with the tealights. The fourth pics with red rose petals and candles of different sizes. I love it! |

I guess I won't be using these..
Ladies. I can't figure out how I want to use these because I don't want to buy more for how much they cost. Luckily, I got these on sale so you don't have to pay a crazy amount either.
Forgive me, the pics aren't at a better angle. In the first pic, I have to candleholder that are black with crystals hanging. The tall one I can sell for 12.00 and the smaller one I will sell for 10.00 (plus shipping of course) The second I can sell for 6.00 (plus shipping) Let me know you are interested in these pretty candle holders! Favors
In leiu of wedding favors...
My FH and I originally decided that we wouldn't do wedding favors for our guests. Not just because of the money (our budget is not THAT tight, that we can't) but because most people don't notice or care. So why stress over it? Then I started to think that I do want to do favors, but he was still not excited over it. Thats when a light bulb went off in my head. what if we gave to a charity, in the name of our wedding party? (not naming each person, but...dontation from: Manyda and Bryce's wedding guests) The FH thought that its a nice idea too.
My original idea was that I wanted to give to a charity that will use our money to feed a family in a poor country, the FH thought that we should help the people in our community. I started looking online and found something that I think both of us can agree on. Toys for Tots is what I found and they have a chapter in our area too. Toys for Tots is a charity that collects unused toys and money to buy toys, for children from needy families for the holiday season. The charity collects in Oct (the month we are getting married), Nov, and Dec. I think this is a good charity- I've never given to charity before in large amouns-but we have a daughter, and we have been lucky to be able to give to her without a problem and we know that many families aren't as lucky. So why not give to other families who can't afford christmas?? I've read that this is controversial for many people for many reasons, such as people thinking it's wrong to attach someone else's name to a dontation that may not believe in, or people think it's wrong to use that oppurtunity to use that money in leiu of favors because you are not doing the wedding guests a favor...What are your thoughts on this ladies? |

Shoes!
I think I have fallen in love!
I wanted to wear some hot black heels, but thought i would look at some metallic heels. Good thing! because i have fallen in love with some rhinestone, stiletto, gold sandals from aldo, but the downfall is that the website only has size 10 left so Im going to have to hit the stores to buy them.

wedding programs
is everyone doing a program?
So, I've read that one way to help out with a budget is to cut out programs. To me, it makes sense. it's a peice of paper that people look at for 20 mins and then throw away. A lot of time and money go into programs-and its something I don't really feel getting stressed over. My mom doesn't necessarily agree.
So is everyone doing a program, is their anyone who isn't having a program? |

what are you ladies wearing under your dress?
Ladies, I've got to ask, what is every one wearing under their dress? I have a sweetheart neckline La Sposa dress and not the biggest bust, Nope! my sister got those good genes hahaha! So Im curious what everyone is wearing and if anyone has any advice that will *ahem* give me a little boost. Is there a good bustier or corset that'll help me out??

Love this Look
If any of you girls have the newest cosmo you can see this look up close. But my make-up style is pretty simple, I don't like to wear a lot of any eye shadow ( i have pretty small eyes :( ) I prefer to have my skin look really great, shimmery or dewy and great eyelashes- that's it. I've also posted pics of nicole richie, because she has a similar style to what i'm hoping for.
