It has been a long time since I actually posted anything on WBC, but I have a TON of pics and posts to add as I have just gotten done with all my DIY projects and everything is coming together really well, I hope to have everything posted by this weekend. HELP!
So for part of our cocktail hour at the reception hall my FH, Brother, and I cooked and canned homemade salsa to share with all at the wedding, all made from homegrown ingredients from our garden. I thought it would be nice to just set the jars of salsa on the tables with a bowl and a bowl of chips to keep them sealed before opening and decorate the jars nice and cute. I would really like to put a nice poem or note on the jars to let people know that the salsa is for all to enjoy and that it was made with love by us.

Can anyone come up with a cute little poem that I could use? I am terrible at this kind of stuff and would really think it could add another little detail to the jars.

I found the one!
I found my BM dresses!! I love them, I think they will look great on all of my girls!! I am going to keep the color black since we will lots of color in the guy's suits and shirts.

Engagement Photos!!!
We got our Engagement photos back a while ago and I am just now getting to posting them on WBC. It was crazy we were hoping for great winter pictures with snow and the works but wouldn't you know about 3 days before our shoot it was 57 degrees and all the snow melted!! It was crazy we even had 57 degree weather in late December in Iowa!! So I was totally disappointed about no snow, but I think the pics turned out great!! Enjoy...

Bridesmaid Drama Continued...
OK, so if you read my earlier post asking how to demote a bridesmaid then this is the to be continued part of it...
So this bridesmaid of mine that I wanted to demote is so hard to get a hold of and after 5 different attempts I decided one day that since I was in the neighbor hood I would just stop by if I saw her car in the driveway and I could do my business. To my surprise she just so happened to be home that day (and unfortunately I was not ready) So I talked to her about numerous things, we caught up on each others life (need I remind you we used to be roommates under a year ago so we knew everything about each other and now we know nothing!) We talked about her wedding planning and how that all was going and as we were on the subject of that I did my business. I told her that we were having to make some changes to our wedding party and that we unfortunately needed to cut back. I told her that I had to think long and hard about the decision I had to make because I care about all of my bridesmaids and they all mean so much to me. I told her that since she was getting married just two weeks prior to my wedding that she and her new hubby should have time to relax and enjoy married life. I know I wouldn't want to be in 2 weddings both weekends following my own (she is getting married Oct. 1st, is in a wedding on Oct 8th, and was then supposed to be in mine on the 15th). I let her know that this way she could come to the wedding and sit back and enjoy it. Eric and I did however decided that maybe to make up for cutting her out as a bridesmaid, to instead have her be a reader during the ceremony. This is a girl who is very true to her faith as a Catholic and us having a Catholic wedding we felt it would be a perfect fit for her. She seemed delighted to do this for us and seemed very understanding of the decision I had to make. However I now feel like a horrible person! I am scared to face her again and we really haven't talked much since (although that is nothing new). I don't know how to overcome these feelings of guilt that I have about doing this and feel like it was kind of a selfish move, but when it comes to your wedding your allowed to be selfish right? I guess I need some words of wisdom to bring me back up. I am sure in the long run I will be happier this way, but for now I cant describe how awful I feel. :(

I need groomsmen shirts....
As you can see from an earlier post I want to do something different with our groomsmen attire. I want our groomsmen to wear colored shirts that match the color of green I want to use. I want something bright and as close to Lime green as possible but I cant find this color anywhere!! I found exactly what I want at Express but the only set back we have is that 2 of our guys won't fit into shirts from the Express. One guy is like 6'5 and needs tall sizes, and the other guy also has longer arms. I think we all know how the Express fits so therefore I am unable to get the shirts there since these 2 guys can't fit. Ugh! So I need suggestions on how to resolve this problem. We got our Usher's shirts at Express and they will wear purple shirts, but we still need to find that perfect green color...

So we are getting our Engagement photos done on January 2nd, yes winter photos! I am really excited for them but I have no idea what to wear!! We have picked out a few collared shirts for Eric, one is a royal blue, and the other is black. I bought a new coat for the photos that is black, but how do I blend the colors?? I need help! Any suggestions....

Can you demote a bridesmaid??
So my FH and I got engaged quite some time ago (almost a year) and I was almost overly excited and decided to choose my bridal party way too early. At the time I thought all the girls I had picked were some of my closest friends and I told myself and many others that even though its way early I knew (or thought i knew) that the girls i chose were perfect. However one of my bridesmaids and I have definitely drifted apart. We hardly ever talk and we only live 30 minutes away from each other (where most of my other bridesmaids live well over an hour away). I have had this feeling for awhile that maybe i did choose too early and that maybe i really don't want this girl standing with me as I feel that she would almost be like a stranger to me. There really is no reason for our friendship drifting other than her beginning a relationship in which she is totally wrapped up in, and even though we had an amazing friendship before and I would never forget the memories we made would it be disrespectful to her to ask her to step down?? Ahhh I don't really know what to do in this situation, and need some advice....What would you do??
