Ask a Question
colors Which one should I choose....
I have been very bad about picking a color. I set a date that I think is far enough away to get everything done. I hope it is enough time...but to the question at hand...

I was looking into Tiffany Blue and Chocolate Brown

or a hot pink or Fushia and Chocolate Brown.

I know I want something with a Chocolate Brown...maybe even a yellow...not quite gold but a pretty not too bright yellow....

please help

i like the idea of chocolate brown and a yellowy color. everyone seems to be doing the hot pink and brown or the tiffany blue and brown!! but they are all beautiful!! do which one you like!

I'm looking at doing a bold orange (think Tiger Liliys) and a bright vivid raspberry pink, with deep chocolate accents, Since the wedding is in August I wanted something bright and warm. The brown/blue and pink/brown scheme is very popular right now, so finding coordinating favors, etc would be a snap. They are both pretty. Pick the color that looks best with your coloring. - asparagus

It's definitely up to you which colors you choose, but I personally would advise you to pair a pink or blue, both very upbeat colors, with the brown! It will give you a lot more shades to choose from when it comes to flowers and linens, and my parents chose yellow and brown back in the 70's and both regret it!! (...It looks a little bit like #1 and #2)

Just my opinion,  I think a lot of girls seem to lean toward the tiffany blue and chocolate brown theme.  It is really nice, but if you want to have your own unique idea I would go with the yellow and brown I think you could really make it look nice if you put the time and effort into it :).  Good luck!

Tiffany blue and brown would be nice in September. The blue looks really well with a nice deep elegant brown. We are doing cornflower blue and truffle brown for ouer evening wedding in June. I think yellow is more of a spring/summer color with the brown, even if it is "not too bright" yellow.

Well if your wedding is in the Spring blue/brown would be nice, if its in the fall Yellow/Brown & a darker pink like Fushia would be so gorgeous! Im kinda leaning more towards pink. Which are you though? Are you more of a earthy character? Then go with fall shades. If you are more of an upbeat, bold kinda person bring on the fushia & turquiose! LOL

GOOD LUCK! =0)

I like the Fushia if its an early wedding, or maybe a teal for a late year wedding.. Good Luck.....

If you are leaning toward the tiffany blue and brown but want to be different, I saw on "Whose Wedding is it Anyway" where the bride was talked into burgundy instead of brown and it was beautiful!! Good luck, I am having the same predicament myself so I understand(:

I'm doing chocolate brown, lavender-lilac purple, with pale yellow accents in November in Georgia.
I think the chocolate Brown and just yellow would be super cute too, or a plain yellow and beige accents.

what time of year is the wedding? If its summer, choose pink. If winter or spring, choose blue.

i love any kind of pink with chocolate brown -- there's a whole pink and brown theme section on this web site:

Well, my suggestion would be to decide what color flowers you are wanting.  If you do a tiffany blue and chocolate brown, your flower choices might be a little more difficult... as they will probably be neutral ivory, white, etc.  But if you do a fuschia or a hot pink or a yellow, your flower choices will be a little more fun.

I think yellow and brown would be really pretty and unique.  With a little hot pink thrown in everywhere.

Just a suggestion... go with your gut!!!

Im undecided on thise same colors too...lol but im leaning towards the blue and brown cuz my fiancee wants nothing to do with pink. But anyway i think it deoends alot on the location, and the month. im getting married in novemeber so we have the brown which is a november color and brightening it up with blue. if i were u i would do the pink,,,it looks soo good

I am having a Fall wedding, and my colors are Cognac and Brown........I've gotten both extremes of reactions possible about the wedding colors, but I pretty much decided that it is my wedding and I will have what I want.  It doesn't matter what other people think of your wedding, you should do what you will be happy with.  After all, it is YOUR day!
