Tonite is my Bachelorette Party!
20 days left, stressed but partying my ass off!
I can not believe that we are in the 20 days left mark! I've been so stressed out with all late r.s.v.p.'s and turning guests away. It's been ugly. Some of them are my own relatives because they did no r.s.v.p.'d on time, even with a week after window.. Some of FH family has been turned away as well and FMIL is not to happy about this. We got into a horrible arguement last week about this and it was badd! I told her if she wanted to cough up an additional $2,300.00 the go right on ahead. I haven't heard from her since and FH is not happy either.
Had my last wedding gown fitting and it's perfect! I didn't gain over the holidays! Bridesmaids & groomsmen are ready to roll! Venue is ready! Catering is ready, photograpers are ready, videographer is ready, linens are ready, marriage licence will be picked up on Monday, 2nd hair trial is ast 12:00 today. Wasn't to crazy about the first on last month, so trying it again. Everything is just about done and on schedule. My last Girls Nite Out is tonite and the limo arrives at 7:00 and I can not wait to get WASTED!!! LOL I need something strong tonite. Give me a good drink to have tonite girls? Long Island is on the list!  |

Going crazy about the RSVP's! Are you?
I must say we have reached the 29 DAY MARK and I'm stressing. Our deadline was a week ago and they are still rolling in!!! I'm stressing because we had to give our head count to the venue on Monday and it was 190 guests then. Now there has been an additional 9 on Tuesday, Wednesday 7 more and today we got two calls to R.S.V.P.
WTF? Doesn't anybody ever to rsvp's right? We distinctly sent out our invites in October and here we are with 29 days left and their still rsvp'ng. Question: We are having a New Years Eve Masquarade ball and the wedding at midnite. Should we say absolutely not? The late people that are rsvp'ng should be turned away? We guestimated about 200 were attending, now we are over that amount! WTF? We did do 200 on Monday, just in case for the late rsvp'ers, but now we are up to 20???? What should we do? 220 guests? How did this happen? I will be so glad when this is all over! |

We are in the thirty day mark in a minute and we've been working out like crazy! For some reason I can not get rid of the last 8 lbs that I've urged for. Thank you Thanksgiving, I know I tacted back on another 5 lbs on top of that. So, frustrated! So, here we are! I ordering this today! Going to the mall and getting my shaper! Are you going to cheat too? My dress was fitting me to the "T" a couple of months ago and I have to much to do and cram it in in 33 days. Have you considered wearing a body shaper too? |

Here are the finishing photos of our created table numbers. I am so happy how they turned out! Exactly what I explained and requested! I have to give my girl (Rhonda) at Partyshakers.com a gratitude of thanks for all that she has done for us! I jumped the gun and posted a couple of weeks ago about the unfinished ones that I still love, but these are just beautiful. We will have 2 table numbers displayed for each guest table. Side 1- Our main page Side 2- Our love story and proposal Side 3- Our questionaire about ourselves I am so SIKED! Our Balloon Arches Ordered
Our backdrop and Photo Prop Area!
Today we went to the balloon company.
One will be placed behind our sweetheart table at the reception. The other one will be at the photo prop area for the guests to share. We also ordered the 200 balloon drop of these colors as well. A kiss at midnight and the balloons and confetti will fall onto our guests! Happy New Years! 48 Days to go, I'm So excited! |

We voted on bridesmaids attire!
The question to my girls was, "Did you guys want to wear your bridesmaids attire for the whole evening for the Masquarade Ball and the Ceremony at midnight?"
Since I only have three bridesmaids and MOH will wear thier bought bridesmaids gowns. I have two dresses for our special evening. The Ball gown and my laced wedding gown for 11:30 that evening. I was relieved to know that the girls made a decision together on wearing the gowns for the whole evening. I didn't think it was fair that they would have to purchase two gowns for that evening. I wanted to make it seem like they were the ones that made the decision. Hey, nobody can out dress me? I'm the bride, remember? LOL What a relief! |

Do you find that people ask you questions about the wedding?

We mailed out our invitations last week, thank God! Before we did this, I've noticed that people from work, people from Facebook, people from twitter, people from the coffee shop asking us questions about our wedding. Are you SEEING the same thing? It's kind of annoying, because some of these people think they were invited and some are invited. We are having a New Years Eve (Masquarade Ball) & Wedding at midinght, but the whole state is not invited! Now that the invites have been sent out, I know that some of the people will be disappointed, because they are not getting one? To add good news to the whole thing, we do have guest list of 125 (which was cut down), because they are most likely going to come with a guest, so that's 200 +? this was the hardest thing to do was the guest list cut. we were up to 200 guests, then thought about the date or guest which turns out to about 400!!! So we eliminated the family doctor, the family attorney, the family dentist, the neihborhood mailman, the dog sitter...JK, you know what I mean? At $32.99 per person, NOT! Here are the annoying questions: What kind of dress did you get? What does your dress look like? What color is your dress? What are your colors? What kind of food are you having? Why seafood? What kind of cake are you ordering? Are kids invited? "NO!" Why can't kids come? What kind of music? A live band, isn't that expensive? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! It's funny how people want to know all your details and not contributing a damn dime to your wedding/reception! Are you getting this flack too? |

Our Gold Scrolls, 1 of 2 Programs- HA!
OK, this is becoming so real now.
First of, thank you Rhonda@ Partyshakers.com for helingp us with this project! . At first we were going to have the scrolls in regular light green paper or white with gold writting and she kicked it up notch to the GOLD paper attitude. WE LOVE THEM!!! We finally have the beginning ceremony together with having the Masqurade Ball at 8:00, then the wedding vows will start before midnight on NEW YEARS 2012! These scrolls will be placed in a basket at the ball entrance, giving our guest directions on where to go at 11:30 p.m. for our band quartet entertainment for 15 minutes, then our ceremony begins and hopefully our first kiss will be right at 12:00 midnight. Song Lyrics are included for our guests to start singing "Auld Lang Syne" So excited!!! |

We are finally getting married in 2012. It will be starting on December 31st this year and our vows will be announced at midnite! Our dream is to have a masquarade affair ball with a Mardi Gras type of vibe for our special day. Colors, purple, gold, green, magenta highlights. Turning our venue into many memories of New Orleans love! We'll have about 200 guests.
