Help me with shoes!
I am in love with the Alan Pinkus shoes I found the other day (1st photo). They are somewhat expensive (266 US...also its a Australian designer so shipping would be a pretty penny) and i decided i won't be spending $300 on shoes....sooo i have decided to find similar shoes and vintage brooches and make them myself (via a fabulous dye job into blush pink).

I found a similar shoe by touch ups called nona (2nd pic)

when you girls come across similar shoes....and/or vintage brooches that would give me a similar look to the Alan Pinkus shoes can you please keep me in mind.

Thank you much in advance

I haven't checked this webpage out yet, I found it in a magazine. They sell shoe clips, maybe it will help.

Have you tried perditasweddingshoes.com?  I saw some on there that look similar.  Also, Davids Bridal sells small brooches for about 6 bucks.  Not online, but in the store.  You could get 2 of those, some inexpensive shoes (dye them) & wallah.

First of all, let me just say that your blog has saved me! I have been planning a black and white with dark pink accent damask wedding for the last year and I came across your posts a few months back. You, along with a few others have been a one-stop idea place for me, our tastes are very similar :) Just when I think I can't be anymore creative, I get inspired by your page so THANKS! Check out this website- they have hundreds of styles of dyeable shoes, I just purchased a few pairs about a month ago. (Not for the wedding, but for the shower) and ordered the "Joyce" in Touch-ups. This seems to be the look you are going for and they are very reasonable.

OOooo, I do like those! That is the style I am looking for also and I haven't had much uck finding anything I can afford either. My MOH lives in NYC and she has been such a bad influence since the shoes stores up the are fabulously expensive and wonderful.

Thats funny cause i already bought the #2 shoes by Nona and they are in the shoe shop getting dyed right now! but I'm getting mine dyed bronze.
Then im going to buy brooches to attach.  i just think its funny we are doing the same exact thing, except a different color. the pink looks great also!
