Hand written? or Belly band?

I'm getting ready to order my Invitation supplies and originally I was going to handwrite but I really LOVE these bands (a la Martha Stewart). Too informal? I guess I could still hand write but I really love the band idea. GOING FOR IT!

Has anyone done this? I remember someone writing about possibly doing this.

Anyone has pictures of this look on a square envelope?

I love the look of both but think the band is something fresh & probably a lot less work. I def don't think too informal! Modern & chic!

After reading your comment on my tank tops from ebay....laughing as I have the flu and seem to be buying more too! Have my eye on some personalised bikini that will have Mrs. G...... across the butt (for after we get married for the beach) and sweatsuit (to travel in) I think I am becoming wedding mania obsessed!

I'm doing the bands on black envelopes too.  I'm having trouble finding black envelopes though at a decent price for some reason...  I saw the Martha template for the bands, but I think I'm just going to put my own together in Word.  I bought regular letter size sheets of stickers (the whole page is one big sticker) and I'll just slice them myself.

I'm actually in the process of doing these for mailing our STD's.  Im way late on sending them out.  I would love to put them on the invites as well, but I dont want to be redundant.  I'll see how these turn out first.  Good luck with yours! :)

Love the bellybands. Couldn't you still hand write though over the stickers instead of printing the names? I Still think it would be fine to have them printed though.
