Wedding Day Jewels

I know that my jewelry will depend on the dress and hairstyle but that hasn't stopped me from eyeing some pieces that I think suit me and my fashion sense.

I love long earrings and drop neckleces, cuff bracelets and vintage brooches.

I don't plan on spending a lot of money on my wedding day jewelry. I do want something new and sparkly for the big day.

Most of these are from http://emitations.com/ and some are from http://whiteaisle.com/ Emitations makes beautiful jewelry for a fraction of the cost what the real deal would cost. Sometimes they get pricey but most of the items are well worth the price.

If you've never been on emitations I have to warn you: its addicting. I'm almost positive I will splurge on the Damask Bracelet. I'm hoping they will have it on sale one of these days. Or I find a coupon for some % off.

Although I'm not a fan of a brooch or pin, kids and parents seem to think teachers NEED a million during the holidays and teacher's day! I do like the sweeping brooch you have here!

LOL that brooch comment made me laugh. When I used to work as a day care teacher many years ago I got a CHRISTMAS TREE brooch from one of the kids. I think the mom got it at the Liberace house of crap store. It was  FUGLY.

Girl, All I can say is ditto to your blog!  I love all the same stuff, & I am VERY hesitant to even go to the Emitations site because of your fair warning!  I also used to not be a fan of brooches AT ALL, but it's the same as other jewelry...there's some ugly, & some very beautiful.  I have lately grown to found some very beautiful brooches.  I will have one pinned on the side of my waist on my gown.  It won't look anything like the Christmas Tree brooch though, LOL :)

You have a lot of great ideas. I know you mentioned it seems like your date is so far out but it will come quickly. I got engaged May 07 and my date isnt till this october. I felt i had a lot of time to plan, next thing you know its March already! You have great ideas, and our ideas are alike, so it will be a great party!!!!! Good luck!!

io went to whiteaisle.com, they have some beautiful stuff... pretty invitations too... but no prices ... ummmm thats probably a bad sign :)
