This is martin50538's Red Wedding!

The most frustrating thing now is finding reception ideas.

My colors are red and gold. The reception is to be in a church gym-ish room. It's gym-sized with a hard floor, but not wood...it's stained a dark dark brown marblish with black. It has a stage in it. It's where you could have an alternated church sevice if needed.

I'm thinking of dimming the lights and having a slide show. I want to distract people from looking at the size of the room. We will probably have 15 10-person round tables and then a few tables for the wedding party.

I want to avoid doing plastic tablecloths! My mom is insisting we do that since it is waaaayyy cheaper. Does anyone have any alternate ideas? Linen cloths are really expensive to buy/rent. What can I do?!!


I live in Tulsa, OK. if that helps any one.

Also, I want to use lots of lighting, like those dangling white christmas lights, and lots of candles...but i'm unsure of how. Any ideas?
