Wedding Dress
I am having second thoughts about my dress

Is it normal to be rethinking the most important detail of my wedding day; MY DRESS. I obviously liked the dress when I purchased it at Davids Bridal but now that Im watching all the wedding shows, especially Say Yes to the Dress, I think i might have made the wrong decision. I didnt think I would like the ball gown look or the cinderella dress but i think I do. Im am so not having a huge ceremony. So I want my dress so go with it. When I see the dress I think Vintage yet classic but its not too much for my type of backyard wedding. (It's a nice back yard) I just dont know what to do. I cant be the only one having this dilemma, can I?

It is TOTALLY normal to second guess your dress decision! I really think that you made the right decision with your dress! While the one with pick-ups looks really great on you as well, I prefer the look of the one that you bought. It will espeically go much better with your backyard wedding!

aww, you're dress is gorgeous! and it fits you beautifully!
I think most brides have second thoughts at some point, I'd leave it for a little while and see if you're still having doubts in a week or two!

I think we all second guess ourselves when it comes to our wedding dress (I know I did)

I love your dress..and you look absolutely stunning in it(I wouldn't say this if it weren't true). I think you made the right choice.  Again, like kristah said think about it a little more see if this feeling passes.

If you've been watching "Say Yes to the Dress" you should know that all those people 2nd guess their dresses too when they go in for fittings.  Almost every episode they show a bride walking in for her first fitting nervous about if she still likes her dress...then they put it on and fall in love all over again!  Trust yourself, you wouldn't have made a big decision like picking a dress if you didn't really mean it.  You'll try it on and be as completely in love with it as you were before.

I think it is totally normal to second guess yourself.
Your dress is beautiful however so unless you are just totally uncomfortable in it, I say keep it!

It is normal to second guess yourself but in this case I love the second dress on you because to me it pops more but both of them are very pretty on you. But its up to you and its your day .So good luck to you with whatever you do.

I had the same thing happen because I picked my dress the very first day I went looking.  It was the third dress I tried on, so later I worried that I had rushed into it.  I looked at other dresses and the magazine clippings I had collected before looking for dresses.  I realized that the one I chose was a little different than my original vision...but after trying it on again, I do still love it and feel like it was the right choice.  I really love the dress you chose.  I think it is more flattering on you than the second dress and fits better with your backyard theme.  I think that you made the right choice!

Yes, it's normal but please stop worrying about what you selected because you look freaking gorgeous in the pictures you posted.  Absolutely beautiful.  Trust the decision you made.

I have been married for just over two years and I know the opinion of a random stranger means nothing to you, but I wanted to let you know you chose well!

Best of luck to you and your fiance. I wish you all the happiness in the world.
