Wedding Flowers
Officially Booked the Florist Today!!!
Love Love Love her! We booked a very fun florist, she is modern and funky! I wish she could make the bouquets and then I could take pictures of them and then I could post them... but theres no trial run for flowers lol booo. In total with Centerpieces (I have my own vases), 4 bouquets, 4 coursages, 8 bouteniers, 4ceremony pillars filled with flowers, my hair flower and I'm probably forgetting other things LOL $1200!! I think its a good deal! WOOOO!! Here are a few pics of some of the flowers we are incorporating

Reception and Ceremony
So my mom and dad know a musician/DJ so he will be playing the piano at the ceremony in my grandmas backyard and ALSO will be doing the reception DJing!!! YEH! Bonus!

So I called the hall cuz I had some questions and they were urking me lol so I found out .....
1) they have 2 easles that we can use for our seating charts 2) the slideshow rental is $75 3) and good news the table linens are IVORY not white which is what I was hoping for! Yeh! 4) We are going to schedule a taste testing in April! |

Tuxes
Hello Chocolate Brown!
We found tuxes at Moores! They are Chocolate brown pinstriped tuxes! The Boys are wearing Synergy Mint (lime green) vests and ties. And funnily enough Matt picked a "Bisque" vest and tie which is Champagne coloured which just happens to be the colour of my dress and he doesn't even know it! SCORE!!!

I'm a worrier!!
I haven't posted in a really long time because I kind of feel like theres nothing to post! BUT yet I feel so overwhelmed with everything! There is only 6 months left and everyone I talk to feels like that is still so far away... yet I'm FREAKING out!!!! I went to Florida for March break and on the beach I would sit on the there and make a list of everything that I really need to get started on! And then it overwhelmed me and freaked me out GRRRR. So ya I've been busy busy trying to get organized so I'm gonna post some things I've done and maybe it will make me feel like I've accomplished things LOL. so here it goes...

Hey Gurlz,
Well as you know we are getting married outdoors and therefore we need to find someone to marry us! So Matt came up with the idea of having someone we know get ORDAINED! DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INFO ON HOW WE GO ABOUT DOING THIS? OR WEBSITES THAT MAY BE HELPFUL!!! IS ANYONE DOING THIS TOO??? Now I'm a Canadian bride so I'm sure every country has different rules! Centerpieces!
I couldn't have asked for a better find!!! When I saw these vases I just HAD TO HAVE THEM! they were our EXACT colours lime green and chocolate brown mixed together WOW! So we picked up 20 of these beautys! LOVE THEM! and bonus since we bought instead of renting then our guests get to take them home! YEH!

Table Overlays!!
So our hall is already really beautifully decorated and we just love it BUT I really wanted to make sure that our colours were popping everywhere, I wanted to set a mood and really wow everyone so we went out looking for chocolate brown overlays to go over our basic table clothes!!!
We found something reallly unique and I'm very happy with how they look! We are renting them for $12 an overlay with matching chair bows for $1 each! good deal most people want $16 per overlay and they are nearly as nice as the ones we found!!! Exciting!!! |

JEWLERY!!!
Ok so I would just like to clarify up front that I am NOT 90years old BUT I LOVE CRAFT SHOWS!!! When the holiday season approaches (thanksgiving) basically every single weekend up until christmas is dedicated to craft shows!!! My mom, my grandma and I go to every craft show and church bizarre LOL. Which brings me to my post....
I found an amazing vendor at a craft show that designs and makes jewlery!!! She is young and fun and her personality really reflects in her work!! So I asked her if she could design my bridesmaids jewlery and she said yes!!! WOOOO! So we had 4 different necklaces made up with the brown and green colors and here are the results!!! Each bridesmaid will be wearing a different FUNKY CHUNKY necklace to go with their Beautiful Strapless dresses!!! |

The operation wedding day weight loss is still going strong!!!
Week 10- -1.4lbs Week 11- -0.6lbs Week 12- -0.4lbs Week 13- -1.2lbs Week 14- -1.0lbs Total Weight lost- 16.2lbs Current Weight- 171.8lbs! and still NINE months to go!!!! WOOOO I'm also exercising 3 times a week, just cardio on the tredmill for one hour while lifting free weights! |
