just wanted to say hi and see how everyone is doing....i miss all of my girls here and i really must stop by more, but it has been so busy. I have stared a company ( with a partner) that makes bath supplies, soaps , salts, lotions, ...things like that.... I use to work for a shop that did this.... so i know the ropes pretty well. I already have a lady that is ordering salts as her wedding favors , so we are working on how she want it packaged... i love it. I wanted to also share a few of my fav. pictures from the wedding, we got about 450 on a disk but these are my favs... maybe not the best on the disk , but the ones that i thought had the most meaning to them. Well ladys keep in touch and if anyone needs any help please let me know...... i still have the wedding planning bug...lol

Wedding Reception
IT WAS A BLAST....
after the wedding we jumped in a motor coach and drove around and took some pictures...will get those next week...and i cant wait to see how they turned out. then we arrived at the hall , tyhere are a few pictures of before the wedding, what everything look like before people came in. I love how everything turned out. The big hit was when we had our father / daugther dance I had the MC ask all fathers to get there little girls on the dance floor too.. everyone love it...other big hits were the dessert buffet, the rock fountain on the food buffet table, the dj at the start and live band at the end, the $ dance, the slide show, and everyone loved the food and decorations some things I would have done diffrent is not asign seating on the round tables and let people sit where they want. I hadlong tables for the guest and 5 round tables for our VIPS that sat 50it was beautiful but I think it would have been better to just have it open. next i had disposable camras...big WASTE of $, all of them had flash but it didnt seem to work, i ended up with $200 worth of black picture and pitures with lines all over them... I was so upset when I saw how they came out.

The day was beautiful, lots of sun..... everything looked wonderful and almost everything went off as planned... As i said in my last post I was late, also my ring bearer was tired so he cried when he reached the end of the walk way and had to give the rings, but everyone thought he was cute. All in all it was perfect to me. Here are a few pictures at the wedding. When my dad came to walk me down the path he told me...Okay baby one last chance..i dont have to give you away I have the keys in the truch and we ca book it out of here....lol I love my daddy

hi everyone.... i am now a Mrs. and love it
The wedding we on sunday june 21st.( fathers day) and it was wonderful, we got to start setting up the hall at 7am ( which went really fast) we finished around12pm. My girls were getting hair and make up done from 8am 2 at a time, the men left around 12:30pm to go and get ready. I was so busy thinking of last moment things and making sure everyone eles was ready i didnt start getting ready till 1:45pm, and the wedding started @ 2:30pm, so of course I was late, but everyone got over it because what could they do, start with out me?..lol... the wedding itself was really short..like 10 mins or so, the man who peformed the wedding screwed up , by asking me do you promise to love HER, and honor HER and every thing in that was HER... SO my reply was HIM yes....kurt squezed my hands to shut up , every one eles giggled. The party was a blast, we had about 600 people show up and everyone had a wonderful time. I am going to do a few more post step by step of the wedding so the pitures dont get mixed up. Thanks giris for all you support. We got it......
11 days to go and we got our marriage license
We finally made time to go and get out license yesterday. I keep looking at the paper saying... We are almost there , only a week and few days....i have to talk myself to go to work everyday because there is so much left to do but i know that i have so much work to finish before i take off for the wedding too..... well atleast its my last week. and my brother gets here from NM tomorrow so i am super happy about that. hope you all are doing great with your planning and i will try to keep you updated.

OMG... really only 12 days
where has the time gone... i cant believe that i only have 12 days left till i am Mrs. Lopes...its crazy... we have been really busy this past wee and later this week maybe tomorrow i will post some pictures to show what I have been up to. I finished the favors (all 375 of them) with help of my FI cousin and grandma. I have only 2 corsages (how ever you spell it lol) left to make. we cooked and cut all the squid and put it in the freezer for the squid luau...and a few other food preps that we could do early and freeze. This week I am busy as heck.......
Need to make card box Finish bouts. for groom and groomsmen Frinish corsages (need more ribbon) My brother gets here from New Mexico on 6/10/09 Start packing boxes that need to go to ceromony site and reception site Draw out floor plan for Hall Take my dress in to be stemed. Try to enjoy it all................. And i want to thank all you girls for all your support. It is amazing to have all of you..i really dont think i could have done all that i did with out you girls |

so last week sat. night was my girls night party.... It was also kurts bachlor party so it worked out pretty well..... here are some pictures.... i had a blast there was a passion party, lots of fun gifts...lol..good food, lots of drinks, great girls and sooooo much rave about it the whole week..oh yea and a male dancer...lol

Bridesmaids
25 days to go and i just fired a bridesmaid
Well it was a very eventful weekend...... one of my friends that was not in my wedding but has been helping with everything is helping my MOH plan a bac. party for me this coming weekend so she asked all the girls to help and all wanted to but one, my step sister.... she had every reason in the book, first it was she didnt want to put in $20-$30 because if she was going give money it had to be for something good not just food and decorations, then it was she would but she rather go get the paper goods, which my friend told her that she already bought. next it was she has no money which would be okay if that was the reason but I know is bs cause the girl has no rent, no bills and her boyfriend has a really good job. So it got me thinking that if she dont want to pay $20-30 is she going to pay her part for her hair and makeup the day of the wedding, which is $70 (this and thier $20 shoes are the only things I asked the girls to pay, i paid for dresses to be made) she gave me the run around texting back and forth making like i should pay for her part...WTF then she made it like i needed her because her dress is already made, i called my friend that made the dresses and she said replace her now and she will make a new dress, no problem. So that is what I did. So now my step sis is out and my friend that has been helping me all this time is in.... which i am so happy about.

UPDATE...
have not been here in a while and boy do i have some drama
So i have not posted in a while so here are a few things that happen.
-I have only 33 days till the wedding and I am still tring to finish getting my invites out should be done by this weekend. - Having some total bridesmaid drama. One is having big time issues with helping out. When there is some thing to do she is always makeing reasons that is BS. Some examples my bridal shower, all my bridesmaids came to either help MOH set up or at the start of the shower and stayed till the end to help clean, she came came almost a hour after it started and then says she has to go after 1 hour. Next MOH and one of my other friends (who is not a bridesmaid but works her butt off to help me and i am very very thankful and lucky to have her) are planinng a batchlorrette party for me, nothing huge just some games, drinking and a friend of mine is coming to do a passion party. So my frind ask all the bridesmaids if everyone can put in $20 or so to help with food and what ever eles they need to get all the girls are for it but her, she says that she is broke, so if she is going to put in money it has to be for something good like a stripper...umm hello and there is more but this is getting long so moving on. -I just found out that the earliest that we can decorate the reception area is at 7 am the moning of the wedding, so I am tring to pack everything by where it needs to be so hopefully its fast to set up. - ordered all my tulle for the roof and backdrop...$233.00 with shipping which i didnt think was too bad since i am getting a lot of tulle. -FH ring came in, will take pictures soon. well thanks girls and I have a few DIY projects going on so i will update you on those soon and now i am going to go and check up on all of your pages that i have been missing |

Mr. and Mrs. means 2 not 7
So i am having a few issues with my RSVP's about half of the invites we wrote out to Mr. and Mrs. and counted only two on our list but this weekend we had a few call and say that they are rsvping and the count is 3 or 4 but the best was last night when one called and said 7.... OMG are you for real.. My guest list was already 700 (it was over 900 but we made fmil cut a bunch). My FFIL said let it be and they will just get more food but i just think it is kind of crazy.
