Ask a Question - Do you get sad when you make a post and no one answers it? I do...

I'm with you, You ask a question and noone ever responds and you have so maany viewings. Yes sometimes i feel WBC has favorites lol (JK) but seriously I welcome comments but I guess there are so many diffrent views they just sometimes go with what appeals to them. Hang in there. be blessed

It's frustrating, especially with ask a questions.
I try to respond to as many things as I can, because I assumed that people also felt sad when their posts were ignored.

It depends for me, not all of my posts really need a comment.
Sometimes I'm just commenting about something random then I don't mind if I don't get a comment, but if I ask a question and I don't get any comments then I get bummed out :)

HeHeHe I get a little ache in my heart because I get all excited to wake up and see who has said what and BAM! I get nothing! Very disappointing. Part of the problem to is WBC apparently posts over old posts with your recent posts if you post to often! Now instead of just going to the "Most Recent Posts" on the home page I click "More" so I can see everything and reply.

I think we're all in the same boat. I feel like a baby too though when I get disappointed that there are no posts. I do check the visits though just to see if anyone actually saw the post! ;-) Sometimes it seems like so many people post at one time that a post gets rotated off the homepage really quickly!

::sigh:: yes I feel the same way...espeically if you see a lot of views but no one comments. I'm not looking for a comment each and every time I post but if I ask a question I hope someone will give a bit of advice. If I see that someone asks a question in their post I try to leave a comment when it's feasible--because I know how it feels to not have anyone comment. I think it also depends on what time you post and how often people search the post section.

yes, I know where you are coming from. We all like to get comments for our posts. I went back and looked at your posts though....and I have some insite. I'm guessing not many people saw the 1st one you put up yesterday. When you post more than one a day, they take down the oldest one from the 4 page shuffle. It still shows up if you click view more posts....but it wont show up in the main page shuffle. So- your 1st post just didn't get as much show time for people to see it.... :0)

Yeah sometimes it makes me feel like i am talking to myself, but that's ok i guess. I don't really post here as much as i used to.
If i really need advice i will just go to my MOH.

I feel the same way too...I mean sometimes it's just nice to get my ideas out of my head and have it saved somewhere that I can share with my MOH and my mom (who both live in Virginia which is where I'm from!!), so those types of things I don't mind so much if nobody comments because it's still helpful to me and because I can share it with other people who aren't a member of this site!! BUT I definitely agree about not getting any comments for the ask a question thingies...it really sucks sometimes cause you might seriously not know the answer and be at a loss if no other brides respond to it!! :-(

it may have to do with the time you are posting... i've noticed even if i ask a question or post something I know is cool.. if i happen to do it too late.. by time everyone signs in again during the day.. it's already not on the choices to look at.. so it's... lost. but it happens. ;)

I know what you mean........LOL this is the only form of release I have wedding wise too and its nice to have someone to appreciate what I have to say and actually understand me too, that more than anything because I think the moment I say the word wedding here, everyone else hears "bla bla bla bla bla bla bla" after that.

Yea, especially when nobody commented on my dress that I thought was the best thing since sliced bread...ouch! (Then I posted MORE pictures of it..and I got like 4 comments-thanks girls who commented on my dress) I have quite a few posts that nobody commented on at all- then I will go to different posts and people will have like 8-15 comments and it's like What am I doing wrong?

Maybe it's the time of day I posted my stuff...maybe I should delete the posts and repost them during the middle of the day who knows...anyways YOU are one of my "favorite brides" so I should have commented on some of your posts ;)

I too get bummed when I don't get any comments...especially when I've asked a question. I agree with chicbride about the favorites thing sometimes. I keep thinking if I post more and answer more posts, then I'll get more comments too. You are not silly, I think we all feel like that.

I feel like I am bothering people (in my real life) when I get to talking about my wedding stuff! Even if I know they want to hear it, it just feels like I am being all "ME ME ME!" Lol, but on WBC, you all are EXPECTING to hear about it! Don't feel down if no one responds, it just means they don't have anything to say, not that they don't care. Usually the only responses I get are on the things I am asking about, not on posts about my new pair of shoes!

Lol, yep..I think it happens to the best of us. Like Vintagebabe said, I think sometimes it has to do with the timing, but other times it makes me wonder why there is no comment when you see the # of visits to that post, plus some ppl stick the post in their faves without making a comment. I now just figure that it is what it is, but I try to do my part & at least make a simple comment if I am aware of the post. It's hard to get to everybody though.

I hate it too!!! I also do not like to make a comment and it gets posted for a few hours and then the person that I send the message too erases the message because she did not agree on what my comment was. When I leave a comment it is not meant to be mean and hateful but sometimes you have to say what everyone else wants to say. I can put more about what I am talking about in my post, Sorry for babbling!!!!

That is so sweet.... I am doing Hot pink and brown, I had a really hard time between that and aqua and brown, but flower wise pink won...lol have f...
