Bridal photos
Our wedding was a wonderful success. I haven' t had time to post much but thought I'd throw a couple pics up and say hello. We had the most incredible day. It rained all the day before, and poured the morning of the wedding but was clear for our ceremony and for the rest of our wonderful day! More on our story later, and congrats to all the other brides and my April 18th twinner! I will post more pictures, and maybe a slide show if I can figure it out, later! There were some great photos from the wedding!

Our poster - Favors
table card, and wall poster...
A girlfriend of mine who is a graphic artist made this for us. All she took were a few words from me! I asked her to add some red and maybe some browns/ivories and maybe some birdies carrying the Oak Cliff sign to give it a bit more flare, so we'll see. Even if it stays just as it is, it is beautiful. We will need to insert our favorite photo. Still waiting on the hi-res images from photog but thats a whole other story. The King Bucks is our band. I am told by our after party band, that we will also have a poster/flyer for the after party. The after party will be an open to the public event. More on that later.

This is the first magazine I bought when FH saw me spying it at the store. He threw it in the cart and I flipped OUT, cause up til then he had only thrown out hints. I stayed up all night reading that magazine. Its Martha Stewart Weddings. Aren't those the most beautiful vintage looking rings? I'd love to find a velvet box like that. Any ideas? We DID go ahead and decide to get a wedding band so I will look like an official married lady. Its what I wanted.

Favors
I bought a bunch of little teeny gift boxes on ebay for favors. They are earring boxes really. We are going to wrap them perhaps with a leopard ribbon, or not, or maybe some red damask, and put this little sticker on it with our info. Inside will be aqua, red, ivory m&m's. I think they will look so cute stack up on a table martha stewart style. Hmm, me thinks I need a cake stand now...

Boots
for after the wedding...
I went a little nuts on ebay the past few days getting decor for the wedding. I found a deal on a couple pairs of boots. I am a boot girl, and I may put on the red ones after the wedding beneath my dress, OR, I may wear either pair of these with 60's dress below. It just depends on how things look. The cowboy boots are MUCH more comfy than the high heeled go go boots, but we shall see!!!

Wedding Dress
After Party Dress
Here it is, in all its polyester glory from ebay. I'm going to wear it post reception to the after party. The 2nd pictures are of the Miss Sixty boots I have had for awhile. I just need some kicky earrings. Also, I'm going to wear a short veil. This should be fun, and I should be ready to be out of the dress by the time we get to the after party of the show. Both FH and I plan to perform with the band so this should be a good look.

Aqua and Red. Tres trendy, but we have a ton of dishes, and I'd imagine some day I will inherit my mother's traditional white china. We are color people, and not really china people, so I can definitely see us entertaining with these. Oh yeah, vintage look, and our colors too!

Its a Rock Hollywood wedding, Old Hollywood, and Old School Rock N Roll. Our colors are tiffany blue, with touches of cherry red, and a black damask, and even a touch of leopard. It sounds like a lot, but its coming together beautifully!
