Wedding Dress

Dress 2 is here, its here!

It's here. I ordered it through a company in another state. It apparently got lost in the mail so they talked to theri Maggie Sottero rep and had another one sent UPS. How do you come up with a dress like that when it took months to get it made? MS appears to have a warehouse or something in Salt Lake City. The dresses are made in China. Anyway, its here, and its so strange. It came packed inside out like a comforter would be in a square inside plastic. No dress bag. I took it out and there was paper protecting everything. I'd imagine its inside out to protect the bead work. I spent quite awhile trying to turn it right side out.

I put it on, and I'm pretty sure it fits except for one thing. The boobs don't fall over my boobs. The arm holes and boobs sit up too high. I think they will have to add some length to the staps. I'm pretty long. The good thing is that the smaller size seems to fit my chest size which is also small. My bootie is another story. I think I still have a few pounds to lose, but all should work out.

It came with certificate. It came as promised with good service except for the missing dress from the USPS. We are having a bit of a work shower this afternoon, otherwise I'd take it in today to have it bustled and done up. I delayed my bridals until the 30th, and its a good thing. I need some time to get this dress worked out.

Here are some pictures of another brides in the dress. I do love it more than the other one and can't wait to wear it! Its so sparkly! It appears that some do not wear the brooch. A friend of mine has a ruby red brooch and earrings from the 40's. I MAY just go with that because I have the red shoes. Just gonna have to see it together.
