Married Life :)
It's amazing!!!
So its been 3 1/2 weeks since I do and life has just been sooo amazing :D I love it! Being a wife is awesome and so much fun. The wedding was absolutely perfect and the rain held off long enough for the outside ceremony, then cleared up and was a beautiful day for pictures and the reception! I can't wait to post the wedding pictures for u guys!
I just want to say thank you to all of you ladies for being super awesome and helpful through it all! I wish you the best of luck with your weddings and your marraiges :) |

DIY Wedding Make Up
Another trial (PURPLE)
I did another make up trial today on my eyes... this time its purple :) my favorite color! I kinda like it better than the turquoise because of my blue eyes but I still like both of them lol. I'm so indecisive!
Which one do you like better?? Its between the turquoise or purple. |

13 days away!!!! :D
Woohoo!
Just 13 more days and I will be married to the man of my dreams!! Everything is coming together amazing, and I just hope and PRAY it does not rain. That is the biggest worry and concern. But I just have a couple more things to do before the big day and I'm ready!
Wednesday I get to pick up my wedding dress! I've waited for this day for 3 weeks and I can't wait to try it on and it actually FIT me lol. I won't have to wear anymore clips :) But I hope it fits well and I can't wait to see it! Just thought I'd share my excitement lol :) |

Wedding Cake
Not too happy
FH and I decided we wanted a cheese cake wedding cake and his Dad was over the cake because he is going to buy it for us. Well now my FFIL asked his brother to make our cake.. no cheesecake.. and I was definitely NOT a happy camper! I was pretty ticked about it actually. I wanted a cheesecake and now looks like FH and I will just be getting our own individual cheesecake. We talked to FH's Dad about how we was was not happy, and he got mad at us?? Seriously? Omg it makes me so mad to talk about this cake situation. Anyway since I will just be getting a cake I told him "I" was picking it out, so I chose this one. Its beautiful, cute and has our daisies. It will have 5 layers and each layer will be white with colored daisies in our 6 wedding colors. I hope it turns out this way or I will be really ticked.

DIY Wedding
More DIY Projects DONE! :)
FH and I FINALLY finished all of our "fan" wedding programs today! Altogether we spent about 5 hours or more on them... they are very time consuming, but well worth it :) I'm sooo please at how well they turned out and they are totally cute! I love them, and I know my guests will to! Plus today we finished painting our "I DO" letters for our cake table they look awesome! I added some rhinestones to finish the touch. Then lastly, we tied a different color ribbon to every bubble wand and that was time consuming to, but they look nice. I couldn't figure out what to do with the bird cage card holder we bought so I just added ribbon :) looks nice if I do say so myself.
So over all BUSY day and I'm sooo exhausted now! phew! :) |

Found Another Bridesmaid :)
**Need opinions please
So alot of you know by now that one of my Bridesmaids is not able to attend the wedding because her husband passed away last week, and ever since then I was constantly stressing about what to do! I didn't know if I wanted to drop a groomsman, or find another bridesmaid. Well i finally made up my mind that I needed the blue in my wedding or the colors would look horrible together without it, so I set out to find another bridesmaid. I really didn't have anyone I could count on, and my cousin and my friend couldn't do it for lack of money. I can understand that cuz their both in college. Finally my FH reminded me about our friend Jerrica, and at first I didn't want to because I knew her but didn't know her super well, but when it all boiled down to it I really didn't care cuz I needed the blue, so she was honored to be in our wedding at the last minute :) THEN came the super hard task of getting her a dress!!! OMG talk about stress city! We called everyone and no one could get the bridesmaid dress in time for the wedding. We almost just gave up and then I started browsing the internet for a dress that looked some what similiar to the bridesmaid dresses we already have, and I found one at Davids Bridal for $120 (was $150). It has the same similiar "swoosh" pattern around the stomach as the other dresses so thats why we picked it. Its a long dress but thank God we know someone who can cut it off and hem it for us and make it knee length :) I'm sooooo relieved!!!!
***I posted pics of the bridesmaid dress that we have for the rest of the girls, and the one I found at Davids Bridal. PLEASE let me know if you think it will look ok. Just imagine it being knee length like the other one, plus they'll all have shrugs on with the dresses. |

So its for sure... my bridesmaid will not be able to make it. I completely understand because of her situation with her husband, and I feel so bad she bought her dress and now she can't use it! But now I don't know what to do!?!?! Do I get another bridesmaid or do I just have 4 bridesmaids and 5 groomsmen? If I get another bridesmaid I really don't think I could get the dress in 3 weeks and it will look dumb if I just have 4 bridesmaids... who will the 5th groomsman walk down with? Kinda lame to walk down by himself. WHAT SHOULD I DO????

Yesterday I found out that one of my Bridesmaids might not be coming to the wedding! She found out her husband died yesterday morning :( He was in the marines and he was over in Okinawa, Japan helping clean up after the tsunami, and they found him yesterday morning on a beach dead. Shelby and Ryan just got married in Sept. and this is SUPER hard on her. It hurts so bad when you have to see your friend hurting this much. She loved him so much and he was an amazing man to her and to everyone he met! Shelby lives in California and she has no family where she lives, but she has an amazing support group from her Marine wife friends! Please pray for comfort for Shelby and her family and Ryan's family!!! He was only 21 and she is 18.
I feel so bad now because a couple months ago, Shelby thought she was pregnant, and I wished she wasn't because of the wedding.... but now I wish she was, so she would've had the baby to remember him by. I just feel so bad for her... she lost her soul mate, best friend, and amazing husband at such a young age!! She just seemed so lost yesterday when I talked to her on the phone so please just pray for her!!!!! |
