This is the invitation design I cam up with that I think I am going to use. The white paper will (hopefully) be a pearlescent white - kind of shimmery like the pink.
I am getting more paper in so that I can test it in my printer and look at other options before ordering a large amount.
Has anyone printed using the metallic paper? The website says that it might be hard to print on with home printers so I was just wondering.
Also, any suggestions for closing the invitation and/or adding bling?
How did you do that image on the response cards?
Where did you get your pocket invites?
1. I am assuming you mean how I got the pictures alighned and everything? First I started off with my templates for each card stacked "on top" of one another in publisher. I had my image and made four copies of it (one on top of another exactly where I wanted it to fall on my template). Then I cropped each one individually to the desired height (still on top of the templates). Then I grouped each pocket template with the correct sized cropped picture. Does this help? If you need more info, let me know.
2. I am going to get them from paperandmore.com - they are about the same prices as cards and pockets but the pockets are larger (at least on my samples) and I have found that they are very quick with sending everything. They also have TONS of colors and a few different styles.
What font did you use? I seem to be stuck in font hell and can't decide which one to use. Thanks!
I used Edwardian Script ITC on this invitation... I am not convinced this is what I will be using yet though. I like it but I want to play around some more. Try going to dafont.com - it is a site where you can download different fonts. You have to figure out how to do it - it took me a while because I'm computer illiterate, but it was worth it. I kinda like one called Chopin Script (under calligraphy).
