Flower Girl Dress!
Only $35
This is our flower girl dress! She is a little small now but I'm sure she will be growing fast between now and July :) The color on the camera was a little off - the dress is a light pink and goes really well with the watermelon bridesmaids dresses!
Just a heads up - we found it at JC Penny's website for $35 and there were a few other ones that were really cute as well! I would totally recommend checking it out! |

Does anyone know how much it would cost for a "minimum of $300,000 general liability" insurance? That is what we would need to have in order to serve alcohol at our banquet hall for the wedding...

DIY - how to make?
So I wanted to do clear glass square vases with flowers but then I saw this and thought it might be possible to make something like it without using the glass vases.
Can anyone think of anything that would work? It would have to be able to hold water and also be able to have fabric/ribbon or something on it. Any help or other ideas would be appreciated!! ps. I would probably use pink roses and cover the outside with white satin with some lace and pearls around it! |

Attire for hostesses
Chris and I are planning on asking our 4 cousins to be hostesses in our wedding (help pass out programs and help with guest book etc...). I am really not sure what to do about their dresses so I wanted to see if I could get some feedback from you all!
Question 1 - should I ask them to get dresses for the wedding? I think that getting dresses would make them feel more like part of the wedding.... I would also try to keep costs down but it will probably still be around $80-100 and I really don't have the money to help buy them. Question 2 - if I have them get dresses, what color? The bridesmaids are wearing long dresses in watermelon from davids bridal. I would probably have them get tea length but I don't know if they would be watermelon or a lighter pink or something different altogether... So I am hoping you guys can help me out on this one as I am really not sure what to do! Thanks!! |

Honeymoon
Booked - Excellence Punta Cana Resort!
We booked our honeymoon at Excellence resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic! It is an all-inclusive, adults only resort and looks so beautiful - I can't wait! I was so excited I went shopping to buy my first set of honeymoon lingerie today... yay!
