The Proposal

Christmas weekend of 2010, we were spending time with my family. My parents live 3 hours away and he knew how important it was for me to be with them. Not only were my parents going to be there, but my grandparents, aunt and uncle, and brother, sis-in-law, and nephew were all going to be their!!! We opened presents and had a great dinner on christmas day. The day after chirstmas, I was in a bad mood (I am not a morning person), and I was getting ready in the bathroom. He came in and just started talking to me. I asked him why he was in there watching me and he smarted off "because I can." :) Then I went back to straightening my hair. I turned to look at him and he was down on one knee with my ring. I started to cry my eyes out. He got teary eyed and said "will you marry me?" Through my tears I said yes! The usual hug and kiss! When we walked out of the bathroom, my entire family had known he was going to propose to me! He said he had had the ring for a while, but knew it would be more special to me if we were with family!!! I love this man more than anything! He made my day that day and I know he has made my life!!!
