Buck and Doe/Jack and Jill! Tickets Done!

Soo so happy! David and I just finished our Buck and Doe tickets tonight. We designed them ourselves, and I think they look absolutely adorable, plus professional at the same time.

What do you girls think? The hearts were FH's idea! haha and he picked the Buck and Doe too :)

For those of you who don't know, Buck and Doe's or Jack and Jills are parties that are thrown for the bride and groom by the wedding party to raise money to help with the costs of the wedding. So you charge like 7-10 for a ticket for them to get in, they buy drinks, play games, dance (not expensive or anything, just maybe a couple bucks for a game and a bit more for raffles) but all this money from games and drinks goes towards the Wedding in the end!. My FH's sister had one, and we raised 2000$ for them off one huge, fun party! We're hoping to have around 200 people, and it's a small town, where everyone goes to everyone's buck and doe's!

Have/are any of you had/having buck and does or jacks and jills? If so, how successful were they? I know lots of brides aren't familiar with them, so I'd like to hear from some who have had one, too!

Cute tickets. FH and I are having a good ol fashioned Manitoba Wedding social. That's what we call them here. You won't find to many people on here talking about them though. There is a lot of mixed feelings on them. In Manitoba almost everyone that is getting married has them. They get pretty elaborate here so if you need any ideas feel free to email me. =)

Hey, thanks for the comment! So yours are the same idea? These ones aren't expensive to do, and its not a facy thing, it's just a fun party. Doesn't have to be fancy :) Of course we want to make money for our wedding, but I'm not looking to get everyone's money, I really want everyone to have a great, fun time and see everyone again, espcially those that can't come to the wedding. Whatever we make I will be happy with, I think it will be awesome. Do you have posts on your Wedding Social? We've basically got it planned, games, prizes, etc! But I'd love to hear about yours!

wow thanks for the explanation! I've never quite figured out what a Buck and Doe is.  Very cool, and I think its awesome that your FH helped you out with design!
