It's TODAY!
We are getting married in about 4 hours! WHAT?!?!?
Breathe... The weather is looking great (sarcasm). Yesterday was beautiful. It was sunny and so warm. Not a cloud in the sky. Then today it's showing clouds and then THUNDERSTORMS right before our wedding starts and then RAIN RAIN RAIN during our wedding. We are having an outdoor wedding, but it's a good thing there's a small guest list because we can then fit on the little covered porch. Ok, see you all after I'm a Mrs! |

Had ours done yesterday!
Finally, only a week before our wedding, we've had our engagement photos done.
Our photographer (same as will be used for the wedding) is very nice and I love her photography. Isaac and I are both pretty awkward in front of cameras and have a tenancy to pull faces but I think we managed to get through the shoot with out any cross eyed photos or anything. Our photographer said that since it's so close to the wedding, she will have the DVD with them all on it by Wednesday. She already posted a couple as kind of a sneak peak on Facebook yesterday... what do you think? The kiss in that picture was awkward because of a combination of things. One, I was trying to reach him (he's a lot taller than me but we're on our knees), and I also believe I was about to fall at that point. Plus I think that might have been the time I started laughing. My heels also kept getting stuck in the ground so I'm hoping my trying to balance didn't ruin too many pictures! >_< Well, I can't wait to see the rest! _______________ We pick up his mum and sister from the airport tonight. I'm so nervous, I have never met them before! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH AH AH AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Ok, had to let that out. Another thing that is worrying me is I've been watching the weekly forecast and it originally said our day would be sunny and dry. Now, for the past 3 days it has been saying RAIN. It keeps changing from 30%-60% precipitation. AHHHH! We are having an outdoor wedding! Please change the weather, Mr. Weather Man. :( |

WHAT?!?!?
10 days until our wedding. Are we ready!? I still haven't done a hair and makeup trial, but I am doing it myself so that can be done tonight even. I don't know what my guests are going to drink. I'm not even sure our engagement photos will be back to us on time (we are finally having them done tomorrow or Sunday, depends on how the weather is tomorrow). We also have to order the cupcakes which we will be doing today. That's pretty easy.
We finally put together our music last night. I will have to burn that to CD but that's nothing. I need to go over where to start and stop it with my friend that will be doing that for us. I have to finish up little details. This post is kind of scatterbrained but that's just how I am right now! Dress fitting tomorrow. I will see if my mom could take a couple pictures of me. AHHHH And only about 4 days until FH's mum and sister get here! I haven't met them yet so I'm extremely nervous. They are flying in from England so I want to have a list of fun stuff for them to do and see done. I already have guest bags for them. Ok better go, I have a haircut to get to. |

2 weeks until our wedding? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?? AHHH!
Well hello everyone. Just an update, my friend had her wedding and it turns out her dress was a different dress. Very similar, but she thought it was the same and I believed her! It would have been ok if it was the same but it was a nice surprise to find out it wasn't. We found an officiant. She's a judge and we met up with her just the other day. She gave us a big pack of ceremony options and we picked ours out really quickly. We are (finally) having an engagement shoot on the 29th of this month. I hope the photos are done in time for the wedding. >_< Finally went to the seamstress yesterday. We ordered our chairs. And we got our rings! What needs to be done: Hair and makeup trial Haircuts for both of us Order cupcakes (We went in and found out their prices went up and we didn't need to order so far ahead of time) Finish paying photographer, officiant, seamstress, etc. Music I'm sure I'm missing something...... >_< |
