Need to vent...

Buying my dress

So, I went in a couple of weeks ago, to order my dress, and my two bridesmaid dresses. I live in Calgary, and I'm buying my dress in Edmonton (about 3 hrs away) The only reason I was buying there was because my Parents live there, and that is where I found the dresses. Any way, I had gone into Wedding world when I first got engaged to look at dresses, and the first time I went looking, I found my dress. The sales ladies were not very helpful, but the one I was dealing with started to grow on me, and she actually made it quite enjoyable. I had gone in a couple more times, and finally my mind was made up!!!

Two weekends ago, I went to order my dress, and when I asked if Cyndel was there, the other sales women told me she no longer worked there. Alright I thought, let's just get this over and done with. One of my bridesmaids needed to try on the dress, and she wanted to see me in mine. I asked the sales lady for some help finding the dresses, she rolled her eyes, and told me they would be in this section (as she pointed) I found the bridesmaid dress, and found my dress hanging on the rack. She said when I was ready to let her know. Well, she walks in on me, without even asking if I was ready. Then she tied the dress up (well not even half up, and yes it can tie all the way up) and walks away. Well my bridesmaid looks at the dress, and says "I don't really like it, it does nothing for you" I started to stress, and I told her I had another dress that I was debating between, and asked the sales lady if she knew where it was. She said she would try to find it, and needless to say she never returned. I waited 20min, and when I went to find her, she was standing at the front of the store...doing nothing. I eventually found the dress, but there was no ribbon in the back. Kari (my bridesmaid) went to ask if she had any ribbons, since we found the dress,and it didn't have one. She handed her one, and walked away. Kari came back and said "well i guess I have to do this" she helped me into the dress. I started to stress, as the dress was the one i wanted originally, but it just wasn't as suitable as the other one since I'm doing a destination wedding. Kari, then said, "let's try on the other dress again" This time she tied it up completely, and it looked awesome....I knew it was the dress for me.

So, now it's time to pay...and I go up to the front where this stupid sales lady is. She ignores us again!! I pay for the deposits for the bridesmaid dresses (as my Mom already came in to pay the deposit on mine) She goes and prints off my receipt, drops it in front of me, turns her back, without even saying a word!!! At this point I'm livid...I ask is that all? She doesn't even look at us, and says "Yup" I walked out of there in disbelief, how could somebody treat a customer like that, and especially when this is supposed to be an amazing experience....

I'm still not sure what I'm going to do...any suggestions?? Anybody else get treated like crap??
