Engagement/Housewarming Party
How do I word this !?!?!?!
So my mom is throwing Jordan and I an engagement/housewarming party. I am trying to make the invitations but I don't know how to word it. I want a cute little saying that makes sense for both OR incorporates our engagement and new house. I can't find any online. Does anyone have any ideas of sayings I could put or where I could get a combined invitation?!?!

Wedding Flowers
No No NO
So my mom called me earlier to tell me some bad news. A friend of the family got married about 3 years ago and was going to use the same flowers as I plan to use. She didn't end up using them because fer florist told her that they would turn brown by the end of reception. I plan on using hydrangeas. If anyone has ever heard that they die quick or loose color easily please let me know!
I always wanted hydrangeas and I will be sooooo upset if I cannot use them. The last thing I want is for my flowers to be brown by the end of the night! Let me know ladies! Give me good news! |

Limo
Booked our limo for the big day! Jordan and I will be riding to the recpetion with our bridal party. I refuse to pay $300 to ride by ourselves for 15 minutes!!

Bridesmaids
Found It!!
I wanted more of a cocktail dress than a bridesmaid dress.... and I love it !!
It looks low cut, but looks really good on everyone, even the busty!! We got it in eggplant with black beading so I could bring in the black shoes instead of silver ! |

Wedding Flowers
Yay for cheap Florists!!!
I met with my florists the other day and I LOVE HER.... and her prices! I was worried that I wouldn't be able to afford fresh floral centerpieces for amy tables along with other flowers. She quoted me everything for $1,500! That includes.....9 bouquets, boutonneires, altar arrangements, centerpieces, food bar arrangements, sign in table, cake table, grrom table, back drop, etc.
And the best thing is that I get to have my hydrangeas, which is what I wanted !!! So my girls with have white and green hydrangeas with small purple flowers throughout. I will have white and green hydrangeas with ivory roses!!! |

Wedding Dress
I bought my dress.....
I bought my dress the other day!!! It's from the pronovias 2009 collection so I can't find a picture of it online. Bummer!! I took pictures of me in it, but I don't want my FH to come snooping around and see it. It takes 6 months to come in and I cannnot wait to see it in my size and it be MINE !!! YAY!

So we have been trying to get in touch with our venue for like 2 weeks now to book it. I am getting very aggervated and starting to doubt our decision. I really want this place.... so hopefully they call us back this week!

We bought a house !!!!!
Finally!
After what seems like years of waiting for this time in our lives.... it is all starting to happen. We have been looking for houses for about two years now, but we had to wait until I had a job to go to the bank. Now that I am done with school we have finally made the big leap. We signed the papers today and our house is going to start being built this week. We have a slab right now, but the framing will start going up quickly. We are so excited !!!! Super busy with the wedding, my new job, and a brand new house..... but we couldn't be happier. I will post pics as the house goes up!!!
