1 year of Love!
We made it now for the next 49+!
SO a couple weeks ago we celebrated one year together! They say the first year is always the hardest but they don't mention it's the fastest! We had a few bumps but through God we handled everything that came our way. We had a nice dinner at the Spinaker restaurant in Grand Rapids and stayed the night at the Hilton. The next day we had breakfast and went to see Safe House and it was great! I got him Final Fantasy 13-2 and I got my charm bracelet that I've been asking for! I love my hubby and I look forward to the years to come!
Oh and we're trying to have a baby! :D |

6 months!
We celebrated with love of friends!
So today marks six months since we've tied the knot and we're very happy! Work keeps us busy but we try to make time for each other and to laugh. Today we got to celebrate with our friends who got hitched today themselves after six years of dating! We're soooo happy for them and glad that they made that commitment to each other in a small ceremony at the courthouse. I took photos for them and I'm happy to do so for free. Here's to many years for us and them!

Hey ladies! I hope everyone is doing well! Congrats to the ladies that have said their "I dos" since my last log-in in and welcome to the newbies! I have been married for 4 months and I am VERY happy! Yes we had our debates about the trash and dishes but no relationship is picture perfect. I love my husband and being married. Since my last post we have moved and I have graduated with my second Bachelor's in Journalism! (Yay me!) I quit working at my old job and started another. I'm also working on my photography business as well! So any ladies in the Grand Rapids, Mi area looking for a photographer I have great rates! I do have some stuff to sell but I will post that later! Just wanted to stop by and checking and say HI! Missing my ladies and keep on the lookout because for our 5 year anniversary I will be planning a vow renewal!

MIBride got PICS!!!!
Less than 2 weeks after our wedding and our photographer is finish editing our photos and has put them online for us to see and order them! Yay! I'm so happy with how they turned out and guess what...HE MADE ME A SHORT VIDEO!!!! I almost cried when I watched it! I'm amazed at how blessed we are! All this for just $300! I'm BACK!!! MIBride080610 is married!
The Good, The Bad & The Ugly!
Hey ladies! So my day has come and gone and it's true...it goes by FAST! 2 years of planning gone within hours! haha! There was some crazy stuff going on so here is the break down:
THE GOOD: ~My girls- they kept me calm and were AMAZING! ~Our families- meeting went great! ~The church coordinator- went above and beyond to step in when my DOC dropped the ball. ~My hostess went above and beyond and did her job and someone else's! ~Ceremony was perfect! ~Reception came together nicely...better than I thought with everything that was going on. ~I got 2 photographers for $300!!!!! ~I married my best friend! THE BAD: ~My assistant didn't really assist so my hostess stepped up and was great! ~My uncles didn't get to see me get married because they were helping at the reception hall. ~Reception had a lot of things done wrong but at the end of the day I didn't care! ~DJ was lack luster. ~Reception ended early because guest fizzled out but again...i didn't care! (so no bouquet toss or garter toss) ~Forgot garter! Haha!! THE UGLY: ~The night before the wedding 4 cars were broken into at our hotel (my Matron of Honor, a groomsman, a friend and an non-related guest) the clerk did nothing! He sat on his butt until police came. I started praying immediately and THANK GOD nothing was stolen from the 3 cars related to me! The other car had $20 stolen. We were blessed because later that morning the glass place let in my MOH and GM to get there windows fixed and the placed was FULLY BOOKED!!!!! Praise God! ~At the reception someone stole my phone and camera out of my purse and I have no idea who it could have been! There were people in the building that weren't guest at our wedding. The wedding party sat all of our things at the top of a corridor were there was another door that could access it. I didn't find out until after everyone left. But it's ok I didn't let it steal my joy I still had a amazing wedding night with my husband! ;) Even though we had a few bumps we praised God and were blessed with a beautiful wedding! I'm married to the love of my life and couldn't be happier! We also celebrated our 3 year anniversary on Valentine's Day! I love him and he has been amazing I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him! |

Hey ladies! I can't believe I have less than 3 days until my big day! I'm so excited to become a MRS.! I leave for Detroit tomorrow morning! YAY!!!!! After 2 YEARS of planning, fighting, tears, and headaches it's finally here! Pray for us that the day is beautiful and goes without (major) problems! It's so surreal that it's finally here! I'm having my second bachelorette party tomorrow with just my bridesmaids and Friday is busy, busy with a spa day, hair appointment, the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner not to mention decorating! YIKES! With all the craziness going on I doubt I will have time to check in before the 'I dos" so here is my farewell to being a fiancee and hello to being a wife! Congrats to any other February 12th brides! Soon I will be with my love and we can live out our Happily Ever After!
See ya ladies on the other side! P.S. I will return because I'm planning for our 5 year anniversary vow renewal...ON THE BEACH! Goodbye SNOW Hello SAND!!!! Stay tuned! |

Cupcaketree done!
Since I live in Michigan we had a snow day today! So I took advantage of it and decorated out cupcaketree. It took a few hours with painting, waiting, painting, hot gluing ribbon, etc. but I'm happy with how it turned out! I bought some cute cupcake holders from Dollar Tree and I'm super excited! 10 more days!
