So here's the story...
I grew up in basically a single-parent home all my life. Like I said in a previous post my mom will be walking me down the aisle so now I need to decide who I should do my parent dance with. My Uncle has been my male role model since I was born, he fell of his rocker the past few years (his 7mo pregnant fiancee died, lost his job, drinking) but he's working on it, I have my younger brother who is going to be 17 (he's 6'4!), or my MIA biological father who I met a couple years ago for the first time! IDK who I should dance with, I'm leaning more towards my uncle because my brother might be embarrassed! lol! What do you ladies think???
Now for me, my mother is walking me down the aisle alone. My father passed away a few years back. So for my father daughter dance I am going to do a slide show tribute. This is YOUR wedding, whatever will make you happy do it! Be it your brother, your uncle, your mother who ever. If your mother raised you and she is giving you away, then maybe you should dance with her, but if that is too awkward for you I agree with sarahdarling go with your uncle.
I don't see a problem with you dancing with your mom, uncle or brother. I say who ever you would want to dance with. It will be perfect either way.
