Ask a Question
The Ceremony Music

Okay, so the FH wants to walk down the aisle to Josh Groban's "You Raise Me Up"
Its a beautiful song and everything, but I feel like it's tacky to walk down to words.
On the other hand, Josh Groban's songs wouldn't be as amazing without the singing part, right? So maybe if we keep it soft it won't be so bad?

Should I leave it the way it is, find an instrumental version, have a band play it, or find a different song?

Any advice/opinions?

Thanks guys!!

i think its a good song even with the lyrics but if you dont want the lyrics you can just have a band play it or have an instrumental, since its different from you walking down the aisle even an instrumental is ok i think :)

I love this artist! He has a beautiful voice. It's definitely an uplifting song and gets louder at paets, I would do in the beginning all instrumental and possibly the wording as you two leave out the church. What a way to end a wedding, huh!
