The new Mr. and Mrs Hopkins!

Hi ladies! I just wanted to check in and show some pictures of my day! It was absolutely fabulous! Nothing went wrong and the weather was gorgeous! I could not have asked for a better day! Me and my husband were so nervous, it was insane! Im so thankful for everybody that had a part in making my day great!

The only things that happened was some of the gerberer daisies didnt get put out where they were supposed to, and my 2 flowers that I wanted placed on the chairs for my grandmothers that had passed didnt get put there. I had linen trouble early that morning but my husbands aunt took care of it for me. Thats all though! I hate that more people left right after the ceremony than what was supposed too....they had all RSVP'ed and checked what they were eating which means I had a lot of food leftover but WHATEVER! We still had a fab time!

Its my turn...Im so excited!

My time has finally come...I will be gettin married on Saturday! I cant wait! All I keep telling myself over and over is that no matter what happens, its going to be alright! Everything is done except getting the tuxes tomorrow! I hope all of my date twins have a fabulous wedding day! Enjoy it and post a lot of pictures!

I cant wait to be HIS wife!

Couple of questions ladies...

With 9 days to go, I still have a few qurstions! We are trying to figure something out for our grand entrance besides just walking in....i want the song to play for a little bit and to enjoy it but we are getting married in a historic house and the walk from the fronch porch to the main room isnt that long! We wanted to do something fun but we cant think of anything!

Second question...we were going to have our guest throw stuff as we are walking down the aisle from being married but I am questioning that! How are the people that are all the way on the opposite side of the row reach us to throw it! they will be throwing it in their neighbors faces...LOL! Should I just not do this?? I would hate to think I wasted my money on buying the stuff but if its not going to work then theres no point!

OMG!

10 DAYS TO GO!

Where has the time went? It has flown by! 10 days left until we get married and I am full of so many emotions! Happy and so excited and nervous...

One thing that I am stressing about is getting my hair and makeup done in time and getting back to the location to get dressed and get pictures done before the ceremony!

Everything is done and almost paid for!

We still need to:

1. Get our groomsmens gifts! they have sucked so they will be lucky to get anything!

2. Pay photographer off and transportation off

3. Finish programs(just tie ribbon on)

4. Call cake peron and florists to set up a final appointment!

5. Call rental places an make sure everything is set and check on delivery times!

I think thats about it! Im sure Im forgetting something!

I cant for OUR day it is going to be so perfect!

15 days to go!

I cant believe that we only have 15 days left before we get married! I have been planning for so long! I wish I had another month or two but I dont! Its here....its coming very fast! I dont have many more things to do just a few and then some small stuff! The only thing that is stressing me out is the timeline for the day. Making sure I get my hair and makeup done and to get back on time and not be rushed! How are all you other 9/12 brides holding up?

Bachelorette Party Dress

I went shopping today to find the dress for my bachelorette party and I found 2 amazing dresses! I wanted something fun but comfy since we will be playing "bar golf"! Whats bar golf you ask(LOL)...instead of hitting 9 holes in golf we will be hitting 9 bars on that night-MAYBE! Thats what we call bar golf!

Gifts for Parents

What to get them...

I have searched and searched and I have no clue what to get my Dad, Mom and my fiances mom! What are all of you Brides getting them! I dont want to do the handerkerchief thing or a frame....they have enough pictures frames! Im stuck, I have no clue what to get! HELP!

My daughters softball team won Districts!

Im just a proud bragging mom here...Im so proud! My daughter plays for 2 softball teams! She plays for Southwest Little League and a traveling softball team called Lady Lightning! She made All-Stars for her Little League and they have been playing for the District title and then States!

They just beat out 2 of the toughest teams, King and East Surry! They havent won in this age division in many years! These girls practiced everyday for 2 weeks straight for 3 hours a day not to mention my daughter takes 2 batting lessons a week and has conditioning camps on Tuesday and Thursday days!

We won District Champs and are on our way to play for the State title! Im so proud of her and of the team, they have done an amazing job!

Invitations and Birdcage Veil

They are done!

I wasnt going to wear a veil because I am not a big fan of them but seeing the birdcage veils.....I fell in love! I wanted something different so I searched for red material...and found it!

Invitations are done and mailed off...this is the biggest relief! I have already had many people call/text and compliment me on them! I put in a lot of hard work and time into those invites!

We also had 2 of our wedding showers last weekend! They were great! A lot of friends and family and good food...and GIFTS!
