I decided to make a Flip Flop Basket for our reception, because I was at a wedding last year and ...
This is the food that will be served at our wedding. We are doing a buffet style dinner because that way people will get to eat more food then just a seated dinner. Originally I wanted a seated dinner because I didn't want to get up and walk around, but the fiance wanted a buffet so that if people wanted to go back for more they could. Either way we get to eat and I don't care :) This way the fiance is happy and so am I!!
International cheese board, cold crisp seasonal vegetables,
Assortment of pickles and olives, and a variety of fresh breads and rolls.
Traditional Caesar salad, fresh tossed greens and herbs, baby spinach leaves with bacon and mushroom slices, potato salad with our own creamy mustard mayonnaise, Mediterranean pasta with sundried tomato pesto dressing, marinated three bean salad with fresh basil and thyme, greed salad sprinkled with feta cheese, and sweet and spicy Thai noodle salad.
Oven roasted potatoes, rice pilaf with mushrooms and peppers, medley of garden vegetables with herb butter, grilled boneless breast of chicken served with a French market sauce, seafood Newberg including shrimp, red snapper and prawns, carved baron of beef with horseradish sauce and English mustards, and carved slow oven roasted honey glazed ham.
Seasonal fresh fruit platter, English trifle with sherry, assorted cakes, tortes and squares, and coffee and tea.
MMMM....just looking at that makes me hungry. I have had the food at this venue before and man, it is good!!!
