Wedding Flowers
For my Bridesmaids
I didn't know exactly what I wanted for my bridesmaids, I just knew that I wanted them mostly green. While my sister and I were at the florist she came up with this idea. I absolutely love it!! It will be about 2 times bigger than this too as she is going to be adding in more flowers because there are only 2 carnations or maybe three and she said she is going to do 8 etc. I can't wait to see them all done. They are going to look awesome against their black dresses!! 34 Days to go!! WOOT! |

Wedding Dress
First Fitting...
My first dress fitting is one week tomorrow. I tried my dress on back in December after it had come in and it didn't fit me like it should. It was a bit tight and not sitting right because of my hips. In December I weighed what I did when I purchased the dress, and now I am almost 9 pounds lighter. I am hoping with the weight loss it will fit me like a glove now. I have been taking my measurements and I have lost 3 inches off of my hips and 4 inches, sadly, off of my bust. I have a pretty good feeling that it will fit, but you just never know with these wedding gowns. I can't wait to put it on again and see how my hard work has, hopefully, paid off!! I will keep you all posted as to what happens!!! |

Bridal Shower
...Just around the corner...
So just like my bachelorette, i don't know anything about my shower either. It will be the same weekend as my bachelorette because we are traveling back to BC for these as we currently live in AB. I can't wait for a nice afternoon (I'm assuming it will be an afternoon) with my ladies and family members. My sister is quite excited for it all, and I can just imagine I will LOVE anything she has planned for me. I will finally get to wear my cute green dress I purchased. (Posted below) I will let all you ladies know how my bridal shower goes too!! It's all coming up so fast now!! YAY!! |

Bachelorette Party
....Coming up fast!
So my bachelorette party is going to be next weekend, September long weekend. I am SO excited!! I have no idea what is happening, what I am wearing, where we are going, what we are doing or even who is coming. My sister and MOH is keeping it ALL a surprise. I kind of like it that way because it gives me more to look forward too!! I will for sure be posting pics of my night out!! Can't wait!!! |

Wedding Night...
Where are you ladies staying the night of your wedding? We aren't getting married where we live, so we have to either stay at a familys place or a hotel, and a hotel for the night of just isn't in our budget bc we need a hotel for the night before we fly out to Mexico. Where are you staying? Do you think it's weird to stay at a family member's place the night OF your wedding? I'm a tad heart broken about this because, yes we do live together, but this is our first night as HUSBAND and WIFE!! |

Wedding Hair Style
For our little Flower Girl...
I have been having a really tough time figuring out how I wanted our daughter's hair for the wedding, all up, or half up - half down. Well yesterday I thought i would try a really rough, (extremely rough) hairdo on her. I just love it and this is how it will be the day of the wedding. It will be half up half down and my hairdresser has these really awesome rollers that she boils and it makes the perfect spiral curl. I will get her hair done in those curlers and then her hair will have a shorter side bang and a little poof at the back for the tiara to sit in front of. I also bought her little pearl studs yesterday to wear the day of the wedding too. Kiera LOVED her hair when she saw it and it wasn't even that great, so I know she will LOVE it on the day of the wedding!! |

This is our centerpiece and half of the tables will have the damask linens and the other half will have the white linen. The chair covers are black silk with a white sash. It is going to look so elegant!! I can't wait to see it all together! |

I can't believe that I'm posting this....
Looking at my before pic is SUPER embarrassing. WOW!! But then I look at my after pic and I am sooo happy and proud of how far I have come. I am still going strong in an effort to look and feel the best on my wedding day. My starting weight was 158 pounds and I am now down to 145 as of this morning! It's been tough but SO worth it!! Here's to looking and feeling the best I can on the wedding day!! :) |
