A Little Slice of Heaven
This is a spot just down from Michael's parents house. I love it. It's very fitting for us to get married here. Their's a little stream running between it, and that's where we will be seperated from our guests. We plan on getting married under the tree on the far left. Here's hoping for no rain or wind!

Buldging Bride!
~will it ever come off?
Thirty pounds down, and still a bunch to go. I'm dress shopping in less than a month, and I'm worried. What if I don't loose the weight I'm expecting to? What if I loose more weight than I thought I would by the wedding?
How am I supposed to buy a dress now? Help! I'm sure I will loose the weight I want, however if I plan on loosing 30 more punds, how many dress sizes does that equal? Why does being a girl have to be this complicated? |

Wedding Hair Style
Country Girl
For my hair I'm channeling Carrie Underwood. I decided early on that I wanted very naturel simple hair. The wedding will be outdoors so I'm thinking down and flowey. Naturally I have very curly hair, so I was thinking soft waves, definitely blond. I'm still trying to decide if I want a crystal headband, or a clip to pull some back from the top.
Did anyone have their hair all down on their wedding day?? Did it annoy you at all? |

Gifts
They're all so different!!
For my bridesmaids I have three very wonderful, very different people. My sister Tina who is in her early thirties, my best friend for life who is deffinitely not afraid to be herself, and a really close friend I've known since high school, who is completely georgous and glam. I'm thinking the same gift for all is out. Any individual gift idea's for a bride on a budget?

The Proposal
Down on One Knee
It was the best day of my life. My best friend had come to visit, (we still refer to it as the weekend of the deep-fried bliss) and we went to an amuzement park for the day. It was hot out and we had a total blast. After my best left for home, Mike picked me up to go for a drive. I figured there was something going on, I knew he had the ring, but I tried to push it out of my mind. We got to a little park with a pond and decided to hang out on the dock and watch the ducks. I was standing on the railing and he called me. I turned around and he was on his knee, with the most beautiful ring ever. He told me how much he loved me, and wanted to spend forever with me. It was an amazing moment.
Apparently the day before he had spent some time with my family. Asked my Brother and Sis-In-Law, Mom and Dad all together. He had phoned my other brother in Australia and OK'd it with him, and had asked my sister months before. I am so happy we share the same family values, it ment alot to me. |

Wedding Flowers
Red and Purple
I'm thinking a dark red and purple for my flowers, my BM's would carry white.
I wanted tulips more than anything, but I've been told that it's too late in the season for them. I also wanted sweet peas, but it's too early :( Just bad timing I guess. Does anyone have a good idea for a non-traditional BM to carry up the aisle? Or a different way of carrying flowers? On second thought, if my girls are in different shades of purple, why not bright yellow? It's an outdoor spring wedding I think it may turn out very cool. |
