Has anyone used vistaprint.com to make save the dates or anything?

I was looking at making our save the dates from there but wondered if they were any good or not.....

If you have.....are they any good???

So Casey saw that I was on this website again....like I am everynight! i think I'm addicted...but I love it!!! Its such an awesome site. Neways, he saw that I was on here again....and made the comment "I'm already sick of wedding stuff. You show me something and ask if I like it, and we still have a year."

Do they not understand that this is something that we have dreamed about since we are little girls and that I'm going to think about it everyday until then!?!?! Maybe I should just tell him that if its already driving him nuts, we better move it up!! haha....that'll get him going.

I think we are going to go with the cupcake cake. At least that's what I want to do! :) I haven't been to any wedding with this, and I want to be different.

I think my dad can make a stand for us...so that way I don't have to go buy one.

I'm pretty excited about it!!!!.....yet the wedding is still over a year away! :(

How long before your wedding did you ask the girls to be in your wedding party??

One of my recently married friends told me to wait awhile, because in a year friendships can change.....

but yet I don't want them to be busy that day.....

i don't know....

I just want to get started on something.....making corsages and bouts....save the dates....invites....go dress shopping......something!!! I'm tired of just waiting because we have a while.....

So I've always thought i'd go with black bridesmaid dresses.....well, now after looking at it.....it is pretty dark...and i light bright colors.

So now i'm thinking of having the girls in alternating pink and orange dresses......hmmmm.....I just don't quite know.....guess that's why I still have a little bit to decide...

Mom and I attempted to make our diy corsages and bouts tonight. Just had to see if we could do it.........and we can!! yay!! They definately weren't professional, but not too shabby for our first attempt!!!!

If anyone has suggestions to make it easier on us....we'd sure apreciate hearing them. Any tips would be helpful...as we definately just did the whole trial and error method!

Casey for sure wants to have koozies made. We haven't decided on a saying or anything...but if this is one thing he's going to decide on, I'm not going to argue!!

I really wanted to do a candy buffet of pink, orange, and green candy. I got outvoted though! :( Mom didn't really like the idea...and Casey hated the idea. He said he had a bad vision off all these little kids raiding the candy buffet and getting sick...I told him that wasn't my problem. So I comprimised. I think we are going to order a few of the personalized M&Ms. I love them...think they are cute! But they are so dang expensive. So I thought we'd get only a few of them printed...and then would mix them in with some personalized color ones without anything written on them. I had to comprimise on this also....as mom and dad are paying for alot.

We (and that does mean Casey too) want a monogram cake topper with our initals....C V M. We don't want any crystals or fancy cursive writing that you can hardly read. Just some plain and pretty.

Anybody found any good deals on these? I found some today that I loved....but were almost 20 bucks a piece....ridiculous!!!

It's hard to see, but I want my bridesmaids to have black dresses that they will maybe wear again and that fit their body type. I love the pink sash...just to add a splash of color. For the guys, orange vests and ties. I think they'll look sharp. Guess we'll have to see what they look like in person!!!

Casey for sure knows who most of his wedding party will be. He has three other brothers, so picking his side will be easy.

I mean, I've never really had a girl bestfriend.

We are getting married in my hometown, Holdrege. We are getting married at the church where I grew up and was confirmed at. It is beautiful inside. It has huge stained glass windows and a huge pipe organ will make for a beautiful backdrop. I love it!!

I haven't asked anyone yet....but I'm pretty sure they'll be in the wedding....

My two cousins Grace and Ella are who I want to ask. They are adorable!!! One will be 3 and one will be 5! Cuties!!

My other cousin, Bailey, will be a candlelighter....or I hope she will anyways!!!

Don't know what I want their dresses to be. Something simple and cute!! I do want them to hold pomanders instead of throwing flower petals.

When is it too early to start shopping?? I mean, I have over a year....

For the 3rd time....

So I ordered the rest of our silk flowers this morning!! yay!! We ordered pink, orange, and green gerbera daisies. Silk to keep it on the cheaper side...and real ones just die anyway!! :)

We also bought some garland to use the smaller flowers for the bouts and corsages. And we bought the smaller ones to use for floating daisies in the centerpieces. Props to mom for making them float!!!!

I'm so excited so I can start doing something....so I can cross something off the list!!!!

Does anyone have any ideas for greenery to put in my bouquet or with the corsages or bouts? I was thinking onion grass or some kind of berries.

I have no idea. In my pic - I actually have shorter hair. Now it is a little longer...and I plan on growing it out even more so that we have more options for the big day!

This is my favorite one, so far. Very simple and unique, but still very elegant!!!!

We've been looking and I love these centerpieces with the fruit in the vase. I think they are just cool. We'll probably try to do some of those, but also incorporate some other centerpieces wiht floating daisies, placed on mirrors.

Who knows....I have awhile to figure it all out.

My favorite flower is the gerbera daisy. We are trying to save a little money so we are going to go with silk flowers. We are having troubles finding bright pink and orange ones online that we can order. We have started looking at store and found some that I like. Guess we'll just need to keep shopping around and see what we can find.

I'm also going to try to make all the bouquets, corsages, bouts and all that good stuff myself. My mom and gma think we can do it. Hope they're right. Casey also had a sister-in-law that did all of the flowers for her wedding.

I'm going to try to make my own invitations. In fact, I'm going to try to do a lot of things myself. I have plenty of time to do things, and have tons of family close that I know would be willing to help!!

Found these online - they are very simple and go with our colors of pink, orange, and lime green. Instead of the pink ribbon - we'll go with a green ribbon. Otherwise I'm going to try to do something sorta similar!

I have no idea!!! I want something simple - not too fancy. Haven't went and tried anything on yet - I mean, the wedding is still 14 months away. Just browsing online to get ideas.

It is a platinum, 3 stone, emerald cut. I love it! It's not tiny, but its not huge!!! Love it love it love it!!!

So this is the 4th time I've tried to type this up....and it won't ever post...and stay posted.

So, here's the short version.....we took our two dogs - Jessie and Scarlett - on a walk to a wildlife preservation area. During the walk, Casey stopped, pulled out the ring, and asked me to marry him.

It was very simple, and sweet. Wouldn't have had it happen any other way!!!!
