This is miller2008's Red Wedding!

My guy is currently deployed in Kosovo for a year...sniff* sniff* I was just curious if there are any other girls with guys overseas. Everyone thinks its hard to plan a wedding, try planning it yourself, with your man 10,000 miles away and communication limited. Yeah, thats a challenge! I havent seen Kyle since his 4 day leave in September of 2007 and he wont be coming home until sometime in July '08. But I love him and our relationship is stronger than its ever been because of this deployment. I'm sad that he is gone, but I see it as God's test to our relationship. Giving up is not an option for me!!! Us girls left at home fight a hard fight too, so we need to stick together and fight for our soldiers!

We're getting married in Kyle's church.....which is kind of a deal in itself but oh well. It's a very pretty church, but as you can see in the pics, the carpet etc is all LAVENDER....ICKy! Purple really doesn't blend with my red and amber FALL colors. Oh well, not much I am going to do about it!

So I am making all my own flowers....I kind of have a knack at it. lol But truthfully, I am kind of a perfectionist and I dont think I could bare the thought of not being able to do them myself. The two pictures of my bouquet were taken in the early stages of the making of it, so these pics dont do them full justice. I also have the bridesmaids bouquets almost finished and some of the reception centerpieces finished. I will try and get some pics up of all those, so I can see how everyone likes them. Until then....CYA!

Everyone, meet my girls (minus one, lol!) From left to right, there is my sister-in-law Stacy, my childhood bestfriend Michelle, and my high school bestfriend Julie. The only one missing is the other half of the infamous "skinny girl" club lol, who would be named Jenna!

I look kind of pissed in all these pics, but rightly so. The bridal shop I ordered my dress and veil through was a nightmare....Oh how glad am I that I never have to go back there! lol

I have really long hair and I am really undecided on whether or not to keep it long for the wedding. I am having the bestest girl, Jamie, do my hair, so I definately have faith in her skills and I know she won't let me down!

I saw this cake online lastnight and fell in love with it. I think it is the greatest idea! It has the names of all the guests on it so they can all look for their names and feel like each and every one has been key to that WONDERFUL day.
