Any other military girls out there???
My guy is currently deployed in Kosovo for a year...sniff* sniff* I was just curious if there are any other girls with guys overseas. Everyone thinks its hard to plan a wedding, try planning it yourself, with your man 10,000 miles away and communication limited. Yeah, thats a challenge! I havent seen Kyle since his 4 day leave in September of 2007 and he wont be coming home until sometime in July '08. But I love him and our relationship is stronger than its ever been because of this deployment. I'm sad that he is gone, but I see it as God's test to our relationship. Giving up is not an option for me!!! Us girls left at home fight a hard fight too, so we need to stick together and fight for our soldiers!

awe I am sorry you have to be without your hunny! I am not enagaged to a military man, but I am a military brat. My Dad was in the military and gone A LOT when I was growing up and my mom was in the reserves so she was gone on missions some too!! I know it is hard! You have a wonderful positive attitude, keep your head up! Not that this helps any... but my fiance is here and I am still planning it all alone ;) July will be here before you know it!

I am engaged to an Airforce boy he is currently here but will be away at another base a month before the wedding we live in Ontario and are getting married on P.E.I  so i will not see him for the month before the wedding and the day after the wedding he will go back to his base and I somewhere else for another few months.The military life wasnt set up for family but all the other military wives are understanding and helpful so dont worry hunn you will plan the perfect wedding i have no doubt ..And my fiancee's name is Kyle too! :)

My fiance is in the National Guard. We've done the whole gone for a year thing..and his unit is currently in Iraq...luckily he didn't have to go this time.  I feel your pain!
