This is how I want my card box table to look. but i would have the chest open a little with pearl and fake gold coins falling out. I also want to make some gold brick out of somethng. I was thinking of using cardboard and spray apinting them gold.

So I didn't want to do flowers for teh guys and thought of doing shells, what do you ladies think? I am going to try to do it myself to see how it comes out. The site where I found this one only has them $10 each, but if i can do it myself.

Ok, meeting soontobemrsknowles has been a blessing for me. She is such a lovely person. I am so glad I met her. She invited me to a bridal show last night I went with one of my friends I just found out is also planning a wedding and we had a great time. My friend her wedding gown, I think I found my cake baker, and they gave us free garters for the throw aways with a blue bow, so there's my something blue.

Anyways, she has been so kind to help me in getting another vendor she almost made me cry at work today.

So ladies I went to the bridal show on wednesday and had a nice time, meet a good amount of vendors. they actuall had a stripper there that was the first for me, never seen a stripper at a bridal show. Of course he didn't get down and dirty but he did enough fo us nto get the point. What I didn't like was every baker that was there brought cake with some kind of creme in it,

I did get to meet a WBC bride which was great. I love meeting with brides in my area. sonntobemrsknowles, it was nice can't wait till next time.

ok, so I started working in June. My car broke down in July and has not been running since it's an old 94 Infinity so I think it just ran it's course, anyways FH and I are sharing cars now, and haven't really been in a rush to get anything at the moment.

So with that being said, FH start work at 8 am I start at 9 so he has to drop me off. FH job is about 40-50 minutes away from my job, therfore he drops me off around 7:20 every morning. the job does not open until 8 am so I stand outside until the first person come to open the door then I enter and wait until nine to clock in. I have been doing this since July.

Now here's the problem we had a staff meeting on Wednesday and the manager says no one can be in the building but 15 minutes before their shift and 15 minutes after their shift. At the end when the floor was open I explained my situation the manager said we would talk off line. Ok fine.

We step outside and she tell me I cannot be in the building and that would be with any company. Now we are in this small office with no break room or lobby so when i'm in i'm at my desk but I have my wedding books to read to keep me occupied,

Anyways, she go so far to ask if I could catch the bus instead of being there so early, now in my head i'm like hell fucking no, but I explain to her I have a three year old whose daycare don't open until 7:00 am the bus I have to catch to work I woulod have to be on at 7 am to be to work on time. so if I was to let my ride leave me I would be late everyday. then she tell me to get dropped off at a resturant until 15 m inutes before hand then walk down to the job, so I asked her if she has paid attention to where the building is located. There is no side walk it right off the major road and we are surrounded around businesses we are on 102 Ave and the closes restuarant is a spanish cafe on 95 Ave, I wouldn't dare walk that every morning. So she pretty much sums it up with well you can only be here 15 minutes before your shift.

so what the hell. I mean I am not working we don't have overtime I haven't ask them to change my shift. Oh yeah she did say well you know you were hired to work from 9 to 6, so I said yes, and that's what I work, I'm just here earlier.

Do they really think I would be there that early if I didn't have to. Since I got know where with here I called HR and spoke to the director of HR she asked who said I couldn't be there I briefly explained and she cut me off said she would call me back, she called a few minutes later and said to continue what I was doing and that the head manager from our other office would be at the office.

He never showed the next day the same manager came nothing was said and today neither came. I called HR back but did not get an answer I left a message, and called a few other times but still didn't speak to anyone.

And every since Wednesday, she, the manager has been riding me hard with everything I do I have went from being the good worker they have brought lunch for and let go home early to doing everything wrong.

Now I think they are trying to get rid of a co-worker of mine who i have become very cool with our boys play football at the same park, anyways since I started in June they have changeed her postion three times, she starts at 8am so now the only thing I could think of is guilty by association.

What do you ladies think? Is there something I should/should not do. Was I wrong for contact HR

ok, so in previously I asked you ladies to choose the poem you liked the most for me to make the cards to ask the girls to be my bridesmaid. How did you give your girl thei cards did you mail, email, or hand give them?

Ok so in Miami it has been raining all day today so I was not able to atek my engagement pictures today. I am so upset with mother nature. i know I can't do anything about it but thang.

The photographer rescheduled for the 29th I already had to wait two weeks now I have to wait another whole two weeks. OMG.

Miami and surrounding area brides, there is a bridal show next Wednesday the 19th from 6-9pm at the Miami Shores Country Club I have four complimentary tickets but I am only using 2. if anyone wants the other two they are yours just let me know. I work Monday -friday and get off at 6pm and go to Gwen Cherry park for football practive right after work, who ever wants them can meet me at the park I may be able to meet you some where else as long as it's not too far for me to travel.

So thanks to you ladies I have learned about craiglist, and I found a photographer to do my engagement photos for free. Of course I have to let him use my pics and that's fine with me but I don't have to book with him although it would be good for him. Depending on the prices and his work well see.

We take pics this saturday at 4:30 pm.

Anyone went to a hall and it was the hall of their dreams make their wedding dreams perfectly but couldn't afford it?

Well, as I posted in the past when I was venting i no longer have a hall because of the person double booking so the manager felt it was best to cancel both because she was not able to tell who booked first. Anyways, i found this hall the fishing hall of fame that go with my theme perfect and is georgous, but it is a bit costly. At first i said I wanted it i was going to get it and cut some of my extra spening for a while, but I was told I had to have a Licensecaterer with a permit, I am so upset because the family was doing the food i definately can't afford a caterer.

Is anyone have a themed rehearsal dinner? So told FH I was thinking of a 1920's dressed rehearsal dinner. I love the look of vitage and was trying to figure out how I was going to incorparate it in. Fh says he think it is a good idea, so did a few other people I ran it buy. I will do invite with maybe the CHICAGO backgrownd. not exactly sure about that but you get what I am saying.

So are any of you ladies having a theme for anything other than the wedding, rather it's a named theme or a color theme.

I was at work planning around on powerpoint and did this. I have the slightes idea on what i was doing or what to do. Can you ladies please tell me what to do. Since it's in powerpoint I can't post it.

Do any of you wonderful ladies know how to sketch a photo picture. Like I send you a pic of FH and myself can you sketch it for me. As I stated in a previous post I wanted to do something different for my guestbook. I want a sketch of FH and I on a canvas and I will put it on a easel for the gueswt to sign after the wedding i will hand it up in my home.

Hello ladies, do any of you have Michaels coupons you can forward to me or can tell me where I can get some coupons from. I went to Michaels by my job last week and brought this cute little treasure chest what I could use as favors filled with candies and making it look like a mini treasure. The chest was $1. There was a website on the bottom so I thought I’d go on there to see if I could maybe order them in bulk from the site, I was told it was exclusively made for the Michaels store, they said they had some similar but I had to have a tax id number and purchase 2000 or more, but they never gave me a price. So I figured I’d go back to Michaels and see if I purchased 150-200 if I could get them at a cheaper price but the manager told me know they did not sell them whole sale if I had a tax id number I could get them without the tax, but that’s still $1.00 each to much. So I purchased this ribbon for .30 cents and the bigger chest the card box. I got a receipt that says I can get 40% off any one regular price item. But It says one coupon per customer per day, and the sale end on the 8th so I will not have no where near enough in 11 days buying only 1 a day. I figure if I could get a 40 % off coupon for an entire purchase it would be great.

I need a little help on where to begin on this one. I want to make these signs to put in the recetion hall to tell people where to sit it will go with there place card problems is I don't know where to start. Well i know I will need cardboard to make the signs but what will I put them on like what kind of stick?

So we have decided to do a kids table and a teenagers table. I have been thinking of what to get the kids for favors and I thought about the happy meal box and thought that would be so cool, now what do I put in them?

One day FH says bae I really like that light green that is on money. Maybe we should change the wedding colors to green, so I said take the chocolate away and add green? He says No take the pink away and add green, Now he know I am not taking my favorite color anywhere. I told him I will add the green but will not take away nmy color. Fh favorite color is purple and when we were first deciding on colors I told him we can have a pink and purple wedding but he feel that those colors toghther is tacky. I told him we could make it happen but he didn't want to hear it so we agreed on the pearl pink and chocolate. Now he says he don't really want the dark chocolate he really wants lighter color which is fine with me. I asked him what colors he wanted the wedding and he told me he will get back with me. Whatever color he comes up with I will incorporate pink in it.

Anyone doing centerpieces with any kind of food included? If anyone remembered I wanted to do centerpieces with the beta's because it goes so well with my theme, b ut I don't want to put the fish through all the trouble. We have a beta here and evertime we change the water our poor little smokey goes into shock no matter how long we let him sit or how slow we pour him in the vase. I have started looking for other ideas. I like the idea of having fruits or the coffee beans, haven't made a final decision yet. I also likethe centerpieces with branches.

Do anyone have any ideas for centerpieces that will go with my underwater treasure theme and can be done on a budget?
