Wedding Flowers
I changed my mind...again...
So I started visualizing my wedding and realized I'm a dramatic person, why is my color blush? It's not an english tea party.
So I changed my colors BACK to red, ivory and black. I did a new bouquet for the bridesmaids. What do you guys think?! BLUSH OR RED? |

Bridesmaids
Finally! Phew!
I FINALLY found a dress we all love and is decently priced! So hard!!! I think this dress is going to look stunning on the girls, we're going to add a brooch to the bows. The dress with be black with a black bow. They'll be carrying a white/blush pink bouquet with black feathers and black satin trim. I think they'll look so classy and stunning!
I found the dress on houseofbrides.com! One of my bridesmaids suggested it and I love that site. We found this dress for $114.00! |

DIY Wedding
Bridesmaids bouquets
I've posted this twice now and the site keeps doing something funny :-/ frustration central over hereeeee.
Ok so, like I said twice now lol I decided to try to do my bridemaids bouquets. The wedding is a formal black tie wedding with the colors being black,. ivory, white and a hint of blush. I think I might have put too much blush in these though? We'll see, I'm going to keep playing with them. I plan on putting satin ribbon around the stems with rhinestone trim and feathers, althought I haven't decided on black or white feathers. I'll post pictures of the finished project bc it keeps changing :-) Thanks for looking! Let me know what you think! |

Engagement
I'M ENGAGGGGED!!
So I'm a little late posting this but it's been a whirlwind and I'm so excited! I've loved planning all things wedding for other people so I'm excited to be doing my own with the help of some amazing people!!
Our engagement story! It was Christmas and Blake knew that I lovedddd Christmas lights! We live in Fayetteville, Arkansas and the town square has over 2 million lights strung up. So during the week Blake said, 'hey don't make any plans for Friday night it's just going to be the two of us!' So I picked out the perfect "outfit" and got ready for our date! A couple of hours later he called telling me that he forgot the church was having their annual party that night and that we should go. I was kind of frustrated because I was CERTAIN that he was going to ask me to marry him that night! (what I didn't know was he was showing everyone the right at the party that night) So the party dwindled down about 9pm and Blake finally asked if we were ready to leave. We headed to town square and got on a carriage to look at all the lights. Here is where the fun begins. The carriage driver started telling us JOKES!!! haha he wouldn't be quiet long enough for Blake to propose to me. Hilarious,so inbetween nervously laughing and inpatience Blake pushed forward to tell me that he loved me with everything he had in him and asked me to be his wife :-) I love our little story! |
