I can finally post a picture as my cute little puppies decided to use my charger as a chew toy!.
I did help him pick out the ring, he picked out a bunch that he liked and then he brought me to the store to help make the final decision. We were having trouble he wanted me to get a big flashy ring however my hands are pretty small and a huge ring would not only look out of place but its not who i am or what i normally wear, so eventually i won out and got the smaller stone, but he won out with the bands with the Diamond Eternity on both the engagement ring and the wedding band. |

So In Calgary Were we live there is this amazing cupcake and cake shop called Crave and me and FH love their products! So we have decided to do a Mini Cupcake Cake and a small cake for us to cut!.
We are not big on fondant covering and im not really big into sweets so they have the birfect cake for us, the typically only do this cake for birthdays but we are trying to see if we can have it for our wedding. |

So heres the thing, I have full intention of getting pictures taken in my dress in a waterfall and some other stuff after our ceremony, Its going to be dirty and soaking wet after, so i really do not want an expensive dress, i have found some ones i really like for a fair price. and i was just looking to see if anyone else was considering it or had done it and what there experiance has been like?

I am having such a hard time finding dresses that will fit all three of my bridesmaids and my MOH. They are all gorgeous girls but they are all very diffrent and i want somthing that will look stunning on all of them.
Our colors are Aqua Blue, a darker Blue, Black, Silver and White. I want they girls to wear the Aqua however finding a dress that color thats beachy that they would all look equally stunning in is proving to be a challange.... |

My mother and Grandmother have always told me that when it comes to a wedding the bride and groom must pick the things they are intent on having at their wedding and compromise on the rest...
However I am having an extremely hard time with that concept. I mean yes there are a couple things I dont particularly care about i.e. the food, as long as its something I will eat, and if not that I can have something different. But I dont want a big wedding and I feel that people are going to be taking over the wedding. My Fiancé as a huge family. And I have a big family, however I dont talk to many of them. So really I have a fairly small family in comparison and even though we are not far in the planning process I can tell in the back of my head that people are going to be angry and upset. I am not including any dates to the wedding period, I would much rather be surrounded by friends and family, than every person bring a date... and not know half the people at my wedding. Married couples and long term couples are different. Am I the only one who has run into this? Should i stand my ground or should i just give up? |

The Proposal
My Fiancé never had the intention of getting married, from the very beginning, however over the last year or so Our Best Friends had gotten married to each other and our family's have been constantly asking when we would be getting married... and I have to admit, I was getting kind of impatient myself.
Our 3rd anniversary he gets down on one knee and asks me to be his wife, and of course i said yes!, so he had chosen a bunch of rings for me to pick from so i had to go to the mall with him to narrow them down and we came to a pretty good compromise i have to say.
