Wow I can't believe its been 9 months since our wedding! We're absolutely loving the married life! Our daughter is 4 months now and everyday is an adventure! I enjoyed blogging here so much during wedding planning that I thought I'd share my experiences of being a new mom too! So we were one of the few who decided to stick with our mexican honeymoon and not change it after the swine flu scare (even with me being pregnant) and it ended up being absolutely amazing!! We went with another couple and I can honestly say I would never have done it another way! It made it so much more fun and we always had someone there we trusted to take good pics! We got a free upgrade for being honeymooners and got wine the first night (which we're saving for our anniversary) and towel shapes with fresh flowers every night after that. We absolutely LOVED being so spoiled! We even ordered our free room service a few times haha! We spent most of the time shopping or on the beach but we spent one day at the Xcaret which was like a huge zoo and we did some underground river snorkling!

We had a really fun casual rehearsal dinner at Jer's mom's house! She had mexican food catered and hired mexican dancers! Everyone just relaxed and had fun and the kids stayed entertained in the swimming pool!

Here's a few pics from the informal part of our reception! It was just very casual with a dj and dancing! We did not do a sit down dinner just finger foods, beer, wine, and sodas. We did not do the traditional leaving the reception part so we just had a blast hanging out and enjoying our guests until they got tired and left. Haha then we even stayed at the cabin my step sis was staying at for a while and hung out with them! We payed for that part the next morning though!

So we of course had a few bumps along the way but our wedding ended up being amazing! Instead of a bridesmaid sleepover Jer and I ended up staying out in the cabin rehearsal night which was great for nerves! However when we came back into town to pack for the honeymoon and grab everything for the ceremony one of our dogs ran away. So we ended up spending several hours of our wedding day searching for her and eventually had to give up. (she's still not home) But my hair appt went great even without doing a trial and even with a LOT of last minute things (including favors, memorial candles, music, etc) everything went great! I only have one professional pic back so far but here's a few I've collected from bridesmaids and guests!

After a year of planning (most of which has been on this site!) it's my turn for a farewell! We have a TON to do today still and then its off to the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner! We're having the bridemaid sleepover tonight in our cabin then wedding at 7 tomorrow so I doubt I'll have much time to get back on! I wanted to say thanks so much to you ladies for giving me so many fabulous ideas and support and I will see you all when I'm a Mrs!!

PS anyone know why WBC is informing me that today is my wedding?!? Haha yet under wedding day it says June 13th!
