This is missextremist's Purple Wedding!

Im not crazzzzy over it but it's the closest thing to what i had in mind ( which is big teardrop shape bling) so i bought it online a couple days ago to make sure i have something in case i didnt find something better. Hopefully when i get it will look great on and i dont have to look around anymore.

About a month ago i found someone on craigs list looking to do free wedding photography for their portfolio work. Me & Ez met with them yesterday and they are super awesome! They are an adorable young wife & husband team who happens to live on the same block as the church/reception hall, talk about meant to be! They have an amazing portfolio (which im guessing i shouldnt post pics of for copyright reasons) and have a great artsy style which is right up our alley . It's a beautiful area and we have a huge park right up the block which we are gonna do a photo shoot at (also where we had our 1st date) so i just couldnt be more thrilled or excited about this. It's gonna be the 2nd best thing about my wedding aside from walking down the church aisle & finally marrying Ez!

Im kinda impressed with it- but i still gotta add more flowers to fill in the middle because it has some spaces and gotta make the handle cover which will silver fabric with the corset style purple ribbon. Can you believe this is only coffee filters with a lil watercolor???!!! I decided im gonna make this my head table centerpiece for us so at the reception im gonna take off the handle cover and stick in a big silver painted wine bottle and wha-la instant centerpiece for the bride/groom table. The flowers are a mixture of different shade sof purple roses in the middle, purple highlighted orchids around that and purple accented Calla Lilys going around the outside and of course the mixed "bling". I feel pretty accomplished that i got my bouquet done for the most part.

I literally stitched it together by hand from scraps of fabric i had. It's not 100% done (nothing is for that matter) Needs final heming on edges and if i can find the time hoping to bead from crystals on the silver ribbon length

Still a work in progress, i gotta make like 10 of these. Yep, coffee filter flowers .As you can see they are the same design as the pew cones with the cris-cross purple ribbon on Silver. I still gotta do some color hi-lights on the flowers so they are looking a lil dull.Ez wants a Calla Lily one so i still gotta make that.

Obviously i still need to get the flowers for them- i decided against doing 80 plus more paper flowers for this and hope i can find some nice purple silk flowers at a dollar store somewhere. There will be 16 total of these. Im pretty happy with how they turned out, just cant wait til i can complete them once i get the flowers.

This is the ring pillow i hand stitched together that my son will have and the flower basket i made for my daughter. I might do more detailing, i havent decided if i wanna waste too much time on something people are only gonna see for like 15 seconds Im in the midst of on making a 2nd basket for one of my neices who's gonna be throwing petals as well because i doubt my 1 year old will successfully do that, she'll prob just dump it all in 1 spot HaHa.

Not enough time or help so i may have to nix the idea of stuff like my programs ( which are 90% designed already)

The bridal party attire isnt what i expected to say the least : /

Ez's ring we got online is too small

My son's ringbearer suit is boarderline too small & cant return/exchange it

My daughter flower girl dress looks like a piece of crap- the midsection & flowers is safety pinned on and i have no time or money to get a new one so i am gonna have to handstitch it and hope for the best.

We are flat broke and have no idea how we are gonna afford linens, cake , hotel room for day of and night of and other many small things we need.

O yeah and i started to bald literally and im terrified when i have to do my own hair on my wedding it's gonna look horrific.

After going on 2 hrs of sleep for so long for this wedding, im starting to stop caring so much and half giving up which is not good when im nearly 2 weeks away in the middle of many DIY projects...AH!

And Nooooo help, i dont really have friends, my family isnt involved aside from some of their kids in the wedding party and MIL drives me here and there but she works so can only do so much.Throw in 2 crazy kids i have to take care of, not pretty... My 1 pair of hands can only make so much , my body can only sleep so little so that lil cop out mantra " i did the best i could" is going on in my head right now

We finally went to the Tux place yesterday and luckly me & him fell in love with the same Tux. It's very unique which we both love about it. The only difference is he got his vest silver (which will match our kids). I cant wait to see him fully dressed in it. Is it common that they are making him come in for alterations 2 days before the wedding? That has me a lil worried...

These are going on my crystal trees, they are fairly a good size, id say a lil bigger then a normal orchids so i plan on putting like 8 of them on each & that seems each to really fill it out. I also figure out how to make Calla Lilies too so stay tune for that. But in all honestly these paper flowers are f'ing killing me!!! LOL
