Flowers.. Be Fake, or Keeping it Real?

I never thought flowers were that big of a deal to me. I know they are pretty pricey, so I thought if it ever came down to it... I wouldn't mind if they were fake.

Yesterday I was faced with the question, am I okay with having fake flowers?

And the answer to that question? Well... I am not really sure.

There is a piece of me that wants to have a beautiful real bouquet! But the practical side of me realizes that if they are fake, I can keep my bouquet forever...

I guess the only part that has me questioning the fake flowers is because I don't want them to LOOK fake, I guess.

Is anyone else using fake flowers?? I would love some insight from anyone who is using them :)

real flowers can get expensive and id rather spend that money on something else! LOL so im using fake flowers but they will be silk which gives that real feel and doesnt look fake! hope this helps!

I would too lol, I am just worried about them looking fake in pictures... Some of the silk bouquets I've seen look great, and others seem to look less realistic... can't the silk ones be pricey too? I've seen some silk bouquets that are expensive. Thanks so much :)

GET SILK FLOWERS! if you have a flourist near by that does silk flowers. Do them. Theyre fake, but they look very real. Its really cool. A lot of people have never heard of them. But i may do silk flowers. Im pretty sure theyre more expensive then fake flowers, but theyre cheaper then real flowers. Just go book an appointment and atleast look at them.

In my honest opinion, I think that fake flowers look fake no matter how silk they are.  I was going to use silk for my centerpieces and I just couldn't get over how cheap they look :-( so I buckled down and paid for ALL real flowers for the day.  It killed my budget but I know in looking back at pictures I will be much happier.  Good luck hun

Thanks for the reply! I'm really worried about them looking fake :( I'm only thinking about using flowers for the bouquets and bouts- our wedding is at the zoo, so it might not cost TOO much lol
